Music skips often but only had the stutter happen a couple times in back to back innings.

Server maintenances are different from the patch. They both can fix issues but the server side stuff is limited to what the servers are actually doing and it can be updated all the time. The patch, on the other hand, fixes what the game itself is doing and can only be updated with the release. Most of the time the patch release is as soon as we get enough issues fixed to make it efficient to patch.

And yes the patch should fix the glitches. That was our #1 issue on the reporting tool. http://theshownation.com/bug_reports/10000

Was in response to someone thinking the weekly maintenance might equal patch. First line of the second paragraph was vague, but the second was not - I know what issue that links to without even looking.

I'm confident they'll clean up the stutter and meatball bugs. Of more concern to me is the obvious slowdown on the putouts at first base. It really retracts from the look of the game. I am not seeing that mentioned much at all.

How are you so sure? The game has bad framerate issues for years. Imagine how much better the game would be if it ran as smooth as NHL or nba2k13?

They just needed to cut back on the graphics in the stands. I mean who really cares that much about the people watching or the hot dog vendors, resources should be kept for on the field action.

I have 8-13 never played any of them except 13 pre patches and they all run 99.99% perfectly. So I have faith they will clean this game up.

If there is a title update we have found the issue causing the stutter. fyi it's not the game causing the stutter for some people.

That's about all i can say at this time.

Have a 2 year old slim. Did the 5 gig and through 8 games have yet to see the stutter. A couple music skips and once my catcher freezing trying to catch a foul ball near the dugout is all.

I haven't seen a stutter either, and I've played over 20 games.

What does that mean if there is a title update?

I was wondering that means as well. If it's not the game causing the stutter for some people then all it can be is either certain PS3 Sku's causing the problem, online networking or Sony's updates for the PS3 hardware.
