For the record, I have an old fat 60gb and I see the stutter 3-5 times per game on average.

It's weird, I played 3 games with stutter in every inning and then last night I played two with absolutely none. Very much looking forward to a patch.

I notice that the HDD drive light blinks rapidly when the stutter occurs. It happens between when the pitch is thrown to batter and catcher. I've played a game on Boston online. Thru the whole game it was stuttering, as soon as the sunset the stutter when away. I wonder is the stutter have to do with the stadiums? I think the HDD drive is more of the likely culprit though.

Really? Compare how the show runs versus nba2k13 or NHL the show is sluggish at times especially in different stadiums. Ndoesnt mean I don't enjoy the game.

From your posts you do not sound like someone who enjoys the game. In fact I thought you said that there was a need to get rid of the game quick before word got out about the stuttering issue as it would be impossible to get rid of the game once this became common knowledge.

If you want to make apologies for a major flaw in the game to ahead. With Ramones last post I feel confident that there will be fixes for most glaring issues so I have definitely calmed down a bit.

Don't have to...I know exactly the average fps for each release for most of the past decade. Saying that there have been "bad frame rate issues for years" is false.

I think the average fps in the past 2 games were closer to 60 fps than 30 fps... The past iterations run without problems, this is why I'm suprised, that I have stutters this year. It's good to hear, that you have found the problem, I hope it gets fixed shortly. I hope the patch will fix the cutscene stutter and the putout (throw to first) stutter too.

I can't wait for it, because the game now is close to unplayable, I'm playing batting practice and RTTS pitcher, because I do not experience stutters there. IT's a little bit boring, so please hurry up

I havent experienced the stutter anymore at all since the first 3 games I played around release day.

I think the average fps in the past 2 games were closer to 60 fps than 30 fps... The past iterations run without problems, this is why I'm suprised, that I have stutters this year. It's good to hear, that you have found the problem, I hope it gets fixed shortly. I hope the patch will fix the cutscene stutter and the putout (throw to first) stutter too.

That's what I meant about framerate the jerkyness when you throw someone out at first especially. I see that year after year in certain stadiums.

My experience...

Just got the game yesterday. Installed the 10 gig install. Did NOT have my PS3 connected to the net... my XBOX was using the cord. Played a few games and played rtts. NO STUTTER.

So to recap my no stutter...

Installed but never connect to online.
Did not activate my online code yet.
No problems at all.

Not saying that is the answer. Just sharing my experience. Maybe it will help someone.

I did not see any stutter until about my 100th game into my RTTS. Saw it for 2 straight pitches and then have not seen it since. Played about 15 more games after that.
