Started as a 3rd baseman. Through three games, I've only had one play on defense. Seems very unusual. Thinking about starting over as a pitcher.

Same problem here, I usually only get 1 or 2 plays a game on defense at 3B. But I used all 12,000 points from the preorder so I don't want to start over.

I'm surprise the padres ain't trade me yet. Just got call to triple A in August. My ss doing good right now

Jeeezzz, I feel like whenever we play at home (Giants) we struggle all the way through it. 12-11 at home which is not terrible because it's still young in the season but man it's like going into a battle whenever we are home.. xD

FINALLY I GOT CALLED UP TOTHE MARLINS!!! This is actually the first time I made it to the MLB with the team I started with without being traded

WHEW! Congratulations bud, actually one of the few times that's happened, least that I've heard. Hopefully this means they take their own needs into account now but I sorta doubt it.

Might start my SP RTTS under the Marlins system, which would be the first time I have chosen the team I go to since MLB 09. Marlins also happen to be my favorite team even though they are ****.

Doing pretty good as a closer so far. Made my guy have the one dominant out pitch (running fastball) along with a change and a slider.

Sooo Made my RTTS SP pitcher and decided against selecting a team myself and I end up getting drafted by the Marlins anyway, musta been meant to be I suppose.

im about 2 months into my first season in rtts as a sp. got drafted by the pirates. currently ace in the altoona curve aa team playing on experienced difficulty level. current record is 6-2 with 0.83 ERA, 4 complete games with 3 of them being shutouts had a no hitter going but lost it in the 8th in one of those games aswell also hitting quite well .200 with 2 rbi and 3 runs scored. Love this game!!!!!

also leading the league in strikeouts 50 more than the guy coming 2nd lol. averaging 12 strikeouts per 9 innings pitched. hoping game gets harder when i get promoted. pirates just traded Liriano so hopefully i can move up soon. not that i dont enjoy dominating in the minors Did i mention i love this game?

MLB 13 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

May not be the right thread, but I am a bit frustrated. I have this phenom who I put my GameStop points into plus 6k more. Contact is in mid 80's and power in low 60's

Only hits I seem to get with him are singles or home runs. My outs seem to be fly outs or grounders and this is a month in.


I created another player and put all my points into contact and speed. I have a low 60's in contact. With this player I don't have the power to hit one out, but my hit variety has been awesome. I am hitting better with the lower ranked guy. What gives? It almost makes me want to forgot about the phenom I created and work my way with this lower rated guy.

Okay today was a first in all the time I have been playing the last 2 1/2 years. Bottom of the 10th bases loaded, gram slam walk off HR for the win. I have never had a walk off anything

Update for me. I'm now the full time starting SS for the Marlins. I'm heading into September with a .417 avg, 6 HR, and 12 RBI. I'm not counted as a Rookie by the game so it looks like I can go for ROTY next year

So here I am in my ( fourth year ) third full time at MLB level , Cardinals , 2 time league MVP ( 2015 & 16 ) , May 2017 I am batting .370 something with 50 RBI's or so and the pregame talks about me not up to living up to expectations the last two weeks but that my job wasn't in danger, NICE to be in the big leagues.
