I'd suggest names, but being from Montreal, we don't get enough MLB coverage for me to know the players as well as most of you do.
if u dont care for interdivisional trading, then Arizona for sure

Weeks, a couple half decent prospects. Bailey, I don't like as a target as a whole.

I know, I'm trying to provide *fair* value here lol. OT for a Cano rental would be one of the stupider trades in history.

Another Canuck, eh? Shame the Habs aren't gonna get out of the first/second round.

Go with Arizona. ATL's OF is set and Arizona is more challenging, but they definitely have the ammo to get Mr. Gonzalez. Guys like Skaggs and Corbin are good chips.

Ahahah...usually, I'd be the first one to jump on the Hab-bash waggon, but there's something very different about our team since Bergevin/Therrien got in. Really like what they're both doing so far...although I don't think we're quite as good as our record shows.

        But anyway, back on topic...

Atlanta OF might be good already, but I struggled with Heyward last year (didn't use him this year though, I guess he's probably a lot better). So I wouldn't mind trading him away and say a B-level SP prospect to make room for Gonzalez...would that be fair, or would it take more than that ?

But you guys are right, Arizona is probably a better fit. I'd rather hold on to Skaggs and Corbin however, especially the later since he's from near Montreal. The spreadsheet gives Gonzalez a value of 3 B's and 1 C. Isn't that a bit low for a 99 overall player ? Feels like I would be overcompensating quality by quantity.

Following that guide, and looking at the Rockies line-up, here's what I had in mind (again, I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to prospect quality, so don't be too hard on me if this doesn't make sense).

        Arizona gets: (OF) Carlos Gonzalez
        Colorado gets: A package including a SP (W.Miley, R.Delgado, C.Anderson, A.Chafin, D.Holmberg...all Bs), (3B) M.Davidson and (OF) A.Marte.

Would that be enough ? Too much ?

Overall is calculated a bit differently this year (when I first put the game in I thought 95% of the Brewers were way overrated) so just follow the value list even if it seems a but off at first glance.

Delgado/Miley + Corbin + Eaton is what I'd probably go with.

So what I offered above should do it...+ a High C I guess...

Ouch. Gonzalez might be worth more than what Arizona can pay then...Eaton is the only A Prospect I have on offense if I'm not mistaken (aside from Goldschmidt). Thought a combination of Davidson (who can also play 1B) and OF Marte (given the departure of Gonzalez) would've been a better fit for the Rockies, with Helton's age, and nobody very exciting to replace him. Might have to reconsider... :/

Wait, Eaton's an A? I thought he was a midhigh B! Gawd I'm off with potentials this year haha. Sorry bout that. Corbin + Delgado + B prospect. Or Skaggs + C. Or Hudson + B hitter.

What SP can you see being moved this year?

St Louis is in need of some help when it comes to the 4th and 5th guy in my rotation (maybe only 4th if i roll with Miller).

So i am in need of some help, i had a look at the FA Market and Braden/Oswalt are a few of the guys that interest me.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

I'm asking for some trading advice. I'm about a month into my season with the Rays. I'm sitting in third with a 10-8 record. I like to keep it realistic and am a little reluctant about trading, so I decided to ask for some of your opinions.

My Catcher situation just isn't making me happy. Neither Lobaton nor Molina are hitting well and it seems every time I need a key at bat my catcher comes up to plate only to hit out. I was looking into finding a good catcher as a replacement. Here was potential trade but I feel I'm getting too much out of it:

                    Col gives Wilin Rosario (.348)

TB gives Kelly Johnson (.135 avg) Leslie Anderson (AAA .315 avg)

But even though the CPU will accept this trade, I know it's too unrealistic... Any suggestions for a good trade I could use (btw, using OSFM if that plays a factor) Thanks!

You only really need a short term stopgap for a year or so. Sadly the Cards farm system is deep.

Hey fellas, I'm trying to obtain either Profar or Stanton and both teams are willing to trade them for Montero (A) Smoak (A) and Franklin (B) prospects. Is that fair trade or should someone else be added?

Stanton would probably command Montero, Franklin, Hultzen, Paxton, and a C
