Its a rental trade. That's how they work, normally one top tier prospect and a couple young prospects at a B&C level (or a prospect and role players to help shore things up.)

See: Greinke, Zack. Traded for Profar, Hellweg and Pena.

Agreed. It really doesn't take more than an elite prospect who'll probably be a top 50 prospect next year and a solid #4 for a rental.

Yeah, Segura. A slip up, my bad.

Regardless, you are looking at middling prospects. Switch out Cappy for a meh prospect then.

Dude do you even watch baseball? Seager is somewhat promising but keep in mind he hit .260 last year. Ya hes gna get a lot better but if I had to rank his potential I'd give it a 7. And cano is arguably the best hitter in the game. And capuano? Lol. As people have said, hes 34 and has maybe 1 or 2 decent years left

Because Milwaukee was assuming they'd enter rebuilding after the trade

                    NYY is not rebuilding

                    You're getting both though

I'm arguing that Cano isn't worth more than Capuano + Seager

Corey Seager hit .309 in his debut last year, are we watching the same sport?

And no, Cano is not the best hitter in the game. There are multiple better hitters.

Since you want to play the condescending game. If you knew anything about baseball, you'd realize that a prospect with a potential of 7 is extremely highly regarded.

Cano isn't arguably the best hitter in the game. At 2nd base? Yeah. In the game? I can give you a handful of players that are better.
