Alright, so I definately settled on Arizona for my franchise. Now they do have a plentora of good young pitchers, but I'd like to add a good bat to begin the season (kinda gave up on my idea to bring in Carlos Gonzalez, as it would be too much, too soon I think).
I'm confortable with the idea of trading one of my starting pitcher, as I currently have six in my rotation (McCarthy, Kennedy, Hudson, Miley, Corbin and Cahill) plus a lot of good prospects in the minors. Any team looking for a starter that I should target in particular ? Right now, mostly targetting at SS or OF.Former modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Trying to upgrade OF as the Red Sox looking at one of two trades
Carlos Gonzalez for Ruby De La Rosa + Mauro(sp?) Gomez+ ???
Or
Josh Redd!ck for Ruby De La Rosa + ???
Any help on how I could make these trades fair (not so worried about realistic), I really only want to keep Middlebrooks, Bogaerts or Bradley jr... The A's and Rox are out of it at the allstar break and I'm competing in the East and wildcard... Using OSFM rosters...RED SOX NATION!!!!Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
OK I USE The Cubs A.Soriano is leading candidate for MVP and LF Silver Slugger he leads the league in HR and RBI's idk about Hits though cant remember he is 2nd in the league in Batting Average with a over. .400avg Its only been a month into the season but my cubs are 17-3 with like a week lefft in the first month. Considering how good he is playing I feel like he should be worth a decent young prospect I don't really have any major needs besides a good RP ( I made a lot of trades) .
So I was wondering what is a good trade for MVP Caliber A.Soriano I want someone under 28 preferably a RP or OF
Also not trying to be realistic just a nice fair trade for a 37yr old MVP type playerOnly thing in sports that matters is Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks .

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Question for you guys... I play as the Cardinals and am about 1/2 through the first month and in spring training I traded for Tulowitzki and my rotation is depleted along with my minors to get him. I also took over a huge salary that comes along with him. My salary has about 700k left, I was looking to get rid of Holliday and/or Beltran to clear a ton of money. I would net about 25-30 million if I traded those guys away. Question for you guys is: Do you guys trade for guys early in spring training or before? Or do you guys play with what you have at the start and add pieces later towards the deadline? Or like me, revamp the team 1/2 way through the first month of the season to get younger and have more money for free agents and other players I may need later? Haven't done that yet but close to doing it, think its too early too do that? More like 3 questions lol. What's with this chick? Does she have beer flavored nipples?Comment

That's fair. I'm more of a number 5-7 guySpoilerbias is in affect.
Well, here in New England, all you hear of is Bogaerts' upside and potential. Someone even said he could put up A-Rod numbers without the roids. I say at his peak, he will give average numbers of .300/30HRs/100RBIs
Jk....lol....didn't mean to bring back up a dead conversation but couldn't resist.Comment

Concerned more with fairness than realistic
What more would I need to add for a Alcides Escobar+ for Zack Cozart trade?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
My Cubs currently sit out of the playoff hunt (surprise surprise) and its time to trade. Right after the all star break I traded Marmol (1.62 ERA, 20 saves, nothing like real Marmol sadly) along with Ian Stewart and to the Dodgers for Dee Gordon. The dodgers bullpen, besides Jansen was struggling along with their 3B spot.
So back to Garza. I want to trade him along with Gordon (even if I did just get him). Teams that would be interested given current situation:
Twins (More so Gordon than Garza)
Tigers (Both)
Orioles
Yankees
Any realistic/fair ideas, suggestions?Cubs, Ducks, Bears, BullsComment
