The Indians would love Thornburg/Jungmann/Peralta/Rogers back while Taylor Green is a nice fit for the Padres

Edit: May I suggest getting Seth Smith from the A's? The guy can rake and won't cost you more than a minor leaguer you're never gonna miss

Taylor Green for either of those guys should be fine. You could probably get something else (low/mid C prospect) with either as well.

In real life, sure. But in the franchise, a couple weeks in (with a healthy Brian McCann), Gattis has only 3 ABs in 3 games. Other Catchers on their roster, Gerald Laird and Christian Bethanourt, have as many ABs as him. He certainly seems expendable to me.

As for ATL's pitching, Niemann is an upgrade over their current options, as well. He's better than Minor or Maholm, and Teheran is only a 71 OVR. I think I'll do the deal, but drop Meija from the deal, and on my side, add a guy like Jesse Hahn to the deal. Drop Beckham. So, the deal will be Gattis and O'Flaherty for Niemann and Hahn.

Worst proposal I've seen so far between two CPUs: Braves traded RP Juan Jaime to Cleveland for Francisco Lindor, Trevor Bauer and Dorssys Paulino.

It's your franchise but the Braves aren't gonna give up Gattis as McCann is in his contract year and probably not gonna be resigned, so Gattis is probably the guy who takes over as starter. Also Niemann is not better than Minor or Maholm. Teheran is debatable.

Thanks, I ended up going w/ Rogers + Hector Gomez for Stubbs and Joe Martinez (to fit budgets)

That sounds fine to me. What do you think John Axford is worth to the Mariners?

Maybe Axford for Beavan and one of their younger outfielders...maybe Eric Thames

Edit: It might be a stretch but maybe Axford and Hart for Beavan, Smoak and Stefan Romero(or Smoak and Romero only).....I think its a pretty even trade, but the M's would only be getting a rental of Hart most likely. Having Axford in that bullpen when he's on would be pretty nasty though...also depends if Hart is back yet in your 'chise lol

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

I need to sell with the Brewers. First guy on the list is Corey Hart. He's over 30 and his contract is up at the end of the year. Won't be able to resign him so I need some prospects. Looks like the Giants don't have a LF and have some solid pitching prospects. I was thinking:
Giants Receive: Corey Hart, 30, 95 OVR, A Potential
Brewers Receive: SP Clayton Blackburn, 20, 65 OVR, B Potential

Is this fair or should I revise the trade?

I think you'd be able to milk out another lower prospect from the Giants if Hart is putting up nice numbers. What's his stat line?

He's having a great season. Hitting .297 with 14 HR 38 RBI. He's slugging .533 and has an OBP of .352. Putting up all-star numbers. These numbers are as of June 14th. What other player would be fair to add to the trade?

at around the halfway point of the season I'm going to be looking to trade Rickie Weeks if he's under .270 or under 10 HR's.....If I packaged him and Thornburg what would I be able to get in return? I'm looking for either a young 3B or 1B prospect, or even a good quality Reliever that's under 30

I don't think SD would trade Gyorko for that, Weeks is aging and expensive and they're rebuilding.
