Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Bud Norris, Huston Street, Dom Brown?
I know KC has a lot of good prospects that just aren't ready yet, and I wouldn't wanna trade away another Wil Meyers (who's hitting like .320 in the MLB btw) esque player unless I 100% have toComment

How would I realistically go about obtaining those players?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm looking to possibly get rid of Aramis Ramirez as I don't really like his defense and his bat is good but can most likely be replaced in the Brewers lineup. Atlanta really seems to need a 3B w/ Chris Johnson having a horrible year so far. Through the 40 games he's played his Avg is .194. Here's my trade idea

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Looking to deal Jayson Werth as he is batting .210 with 5 RBI's thru 26 games. According to the spreadsheet he's good for a low B. I open to all suggestions but some guys I was looking at:
Dominic brown
Corey Hart
Nelson Cruz
Carlos Beltran
Alex Rios
I'm trying to keep things as realistic as possible, so looking for some insight into a reasonable trade.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
There is no way you'd get Carlos Beltran for Jayson Werth realistically and I doubt you'd get Corey Hart from the Brewers either. Nelson Cruz is on the last year of his contract, but the Rangers wouldn't trade him for a struggling Werth IMO and I don't think he'd go back to the Phillies for Brown. Honestly you'd be better trying to find a prospect for him instead of an established veteran. I don't know about in game, but Werth's contract is also terrible IRL.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
No problem. Also look for a team in contention that needs an outfield bat when you're searching for the prospect. Werth will most likely get better, but a team like the Astros who are out of contention are not going to trade for him.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
As the Atlanta Braves, I've decided that if I'm in playoff contention, but need that next little bit to get me to the next level I want to trade for Chase Headley. What should I give up for him? I was looking at the spreadsheet and it suggests two high B's, a mid B, and a high C. Would JR Graham, Lucas Sims, Alex Wood, and Edward Salcedo be enough to get it done (or is that too much)? Would there be anyway to get it done without including so much of my minor league pitching?
Something like Graham, Bethancourt, Wood, Salcedo? Or opting for Mauricio Cabrera instead of Sims in the first deal? How about giving up someone like Chris Johnson or Juan Francisco to give them a MLB placeholder at 3B?
I'm just brainstorming here, so any feedback would be helpful. I'm just looking for a realistic deal that won't cause me to completely drain my system of its arms.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Please tell me that's either
A. A joke
or
B. A Shelby Miller bobblehead/ baseball card.
That trade would not be close to realistic or fair, and I believe there is a thread for terrible computer trades.Comment
