Crawford ain't great but Joe Panik could work

Agree that Panik is better but he's not major league ready meaning he'd be stuck with Michael Young at 3B

Guess it depends though...if you can trade for another stopgap like Liddi until Panik is ready

Biddle is already traded.. I've been a little busy in the front office the past two days haha. Rollins for Cowart can't work because of salary and neither can Rollins for Crawford/Panik, but I do feel like if I can get the salaries to match up Crawford would be awesome and I think the Giants would love Rollins conisdering he's hitting .327 with 5 HRs and 19 RBIs and 6 SBs through April.

Jamey Carroll would be a nice stopgap, as would Josh Donaldson, or Trevor Plouffe.

Do they have an old tired reliever you can take on in the deal as well to make the financial aspect of the deal a bit more positive for the Mariners?

I actually am able to match up salaries here to get a deal done for Liddi, and the more I think about it Panik or Crawford would be better a SS if I can get them. The deal I got to work for Liddi (that I haven't accepted yet) was:

Diekman and Kyle Simon (C POT RP)

for
Liddi , Kameron Loe, and Jonathan Arias (25 Year old D POT 61 OVR RP)

I'd do that. Breaking it down basically gives you Diekman for Liddi straight up and Simon for Loe and Arias

Zito is only making 790k, so I don't think it would change anything.

Bummer. Too bad Aubrey Huff isn't around anymore to make 11 million dollars for sitting on the bench and rot away. He would have been a nice throw in to make it work

Yeah I'm gonna start Liddi in AAA just to see how he does... if only they did haha! I honestly do think Rollins to Sf would work since they are pretty much focused on winning right now. Plus Crawford glove could really be valuable

Yeah that deal with Rollins and Crawford might work out later on on the season maybe if the Giants mark themselves as contenders/buyers
