Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I think that would be an overpay from the Angels. Sure Richards could be expendable for the right player (Villanueva in this case) to boost them towards the playoffs so given the situation, it'd be alright. I view CJ Cron as someone that'd be available in trade talks since they have the Trumbo/Pujols situation going on in SoCal but at the same time, I think they're saving him to use him as bait to reel in a much bigger fish than Villanueva. Only way for the Cubs to get Cron would be to part with Garza (or Samardzija)

Can't remember on what podcast I heard it but someone in the industry raved about how CJ Cron along with Miguel Sano were the only two guys in the minors at this point he could see come up and have 40 HR seasons in the futureFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I was just gauging what I could get for Villanueva, and Skole/Cole were B's that the Nats had that I was interested in.
Cron + Maronde for Villanueva + Casey Coleman
Maronde is worth a Low C on the spreadsheet, and Coleman is a low C. Fair?Comment

Cron would be blocked by Rizzo, but I guess he's even more blocked by Pujols and Trumbo right now with the Angels.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm the Orioles in early June, and am looking to bolster my rotation and 2B position.
I was thinking of making a trade with the Phils for Utley and/or one of their starters (they have a healthy Halladay on the block). Another avenue I was going to approach would be a trade with the Brewers for Richie Weeks and a starter. I am using the OSFM 1.0 set.
What's a fair haul? In either case I was thinking of offering combinations of: B potential 2b Schoop, A potential Gausman, Arrietta, Britton, and B potential SP Rodriguez, but not all of them at once.Comment

I agree I've definitely considered going after Jemile, but am not interested in Bartolo at all. I'm looking for as close to an ace as I can get.Comment

Haha. They only had him at Long relief because he has the 6th highest overall of their MLB starting pitchers. Most likely not because he's a good fit in the bullpenComment
