That's fine. Davis/Rasmus+Santos+Boni for Blanco+Arias. They get a replacement for Blanco, a much needed utility guy, and a solid reliever. I'm assuming Boni is hitting better than Arias?

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Okay, the Jays are now 54-39, and tied with the Yankees for the lead in the AL East. The Sox are 3.5 out, the Orioles, 15.0, and the Rays, 19.5.

Jose Bautista is leading the team with 30 HR, EE with 23, Lind and Rasmus with 19.

Four guys batting over .300, Rasmus (.322), Cabrera (.321), Bautista (.308), Reyes (.302)

Three guys with 20+ stolen bases, Jose Reyes (26), Rajai Davis (25), Bonafacio (21)

Brett Lawrie's not playing great, .242 batting average, .288 OBP

I'd say 2B is an area of need, neither Izturis or Bonifacio are playing particularly well.

      Dickey is pitching like a stud, 12-3, 3.38 ERA, 3.867 DIPS 121 K's, 15 QS

      Johnson isn't pitching bad either, 6-3, 3.16 ERA, 3.986 DIPS, 98 K's, 13 QS

      Morrow's got 118 k's, almost 5 ERA.

4/5 and the bullpen could use some help.

No idea when, but they picked up K-Rod.

Hope this helps, I'm a little short on time, I'm about to leave my house. Lol

I'll respond to this in PM so that it doesn't get buried in the thread.

Yup Boni has been decent bat with a .290 average, 9 RBI 7 SB in 20 starts but has committed 10 errors (at SS, Cano is my 2B) ...Arias is around .200 and has started every game 3B. Now Giants can use Sandoval at 3B, Pill/C.Lee/Belt 1B and Boni at 2B...Rasmus would move to CF and Pagan to LF...I get Blanco who can play full time for me and a UTL player in Arias...I also get to bring up Marcus Stroman

Ahh the Cliff Lee trades haha. Very well done post though, I enjoyed reading it even though I wasn't even making these trades!

Ok in my Bucco chise Jordan Lyles of the Astros is 4-10 with a 4.72 ERA and a 1.51 WHIP and the Astros are out of it big time. Would it be realistic to try and get him or do you think since they are obviously rebuilding that they would want to keep him?

If you give them solid prospects, you could probably snag him.

You probably could get him for a B prospect

Okay, not making any trades yet in my Diamondbacks franchise seeing that I'm only in April but that doesn't stop me from thinking about possible trades

I've got my eye on Alexei Ramirez. Would it be realistic to trade for him if the White Sox are out of it? Spreadsheet says low B so I was thinking someone like Zeke Spurill or Jake Lamb (3B, 59 ovr) for Alexei? Any thoughts?

Also I am looking for a catcher that can hit lefties well to platoon with Montero. I was thinking Kelly Shoppach, Chris Snyder or John Buck. Any other cheap available catchers that can hit lefites?

Alexei Ramirez would be available and Spruill or Lamb would get the job done for you. Either one low B or two high C's. the White Sox need to add depth and rebuild their minors.

I think Shoppach would be a solid catching option for you. He hits lefties well and plays good defense with a strong arm

Ramirez is a fine target if Chicago's out of it. Spruill or Lamb would be okay.

Out of those three catchers, I like Shoppach or Buck. I'd probably take Shoppach but that's just me.

Thanks to the both of you. I'll probably pull the trigger for Alexei later in the season. And I'll monitor the Mariners for Shoppach since both of you seem to like him. Hopefully they bring up Zunino so he's even more expendable

Little too high on price. I'm just looking for a low end catcher until Trahan is ready and I expect the Jays to compete in my franchise.
