Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hes played like half the games...same with Hicks...they are using Arcia in CF and traded for Luke Scott who is DH ...the trade would move Arcia to the corner and Crisp CF..again Twins are 1st at all star break so giving them a guy they would start over 2 guys they are using for bench fodder lol they are missing a good lead off guy
The fact that Arcia is in CF just makes me
You have to throw in a higher potential prospect on the A's end... How is Crisp doing? Is the Twins pitching somehow holding up? And exactly how far are they ahead?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Twins surprisingly up 5.5 games and have been great....Crisp is batting .285 and has 21 SB. He would fit their team like a smack in the mouth lol. Hicks is batting .187 and hasn't even appeared in half the games...Doumit same thing ...batting .210 and appeared in 1/5 of the games.
They would have Crisp/Willingham/Scott/Arcia they could move around in OF/DH spots...atm they are playing Arcia CF, Willingham RF, Scott between DH/LF and Hicks is playing 4th OF...surprised me because Scott is 3rd in MLB with 21 HR lol and is a big part of their sucess. Arcia also having a strong year. I could add a better prospect but with the way players have been playing + how the teams have been I figured it was fair...I will throw them a B with Coco though if you think it would be betterComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Spreadsheet says mid B for Crisp.. Hicks is more of a high B if I can remember.
As far as OF prospects for the Twins go... Max Kepler could be an intriguing prospect to put in place of Hicks. He's more of a low B I think though but he's got some nice powerComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Doin a LAD franchise and looking to trade for a better 3B or Catcher, preferably someone who can hit. I was thinking maybe Carlos Santana or Mesoraco or Headley or Pedro Alvarez. Any suggestions on these or any other players that could help my lineup a little. Also interested in Cano but don't know if I could get himLast edited by Jcrome; 05-21-2013, 05:41 PM.Comment

3B: A-rod (just because he'd be extremely cheap return-wise), Trevor Plouffe, Aramis Ramirez, Kyle Seager, and Alvarez if you are willing to give up some bigger name prospects)Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Haha, Villar's a pretty decent prospect, right? Something like low B or mid B. I already shipped Wojo to the Rays in a deal for Hellickson, or I'd include him as well. And it's some freakish thing, but SP Alex White has a 5-star potential in 2K (which is like an A pot in the Show), so I think they did good.
As long as I don't feel I cheated them anymore, which I don't (J.D. Martinez is 5-star too by the way, so that's 2 "A's" I sent to the desert) that's the main thing!Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
what you think of this trade in my mariners chise
90 ovr (A pot) Peavy, 75 ovr (C pot) Keppinger for 85 ovr ( B pot) morales
I optioned brandan ryan down and moved keppinger to ss... keppinger has a weak *** arm, but he's a better hitter
I literally have no money left to spend since Peavy takes 6.5M and Felix takes over 19M.. I think I have 200k left cause I signed Giambi and traded for Michael Young too lolGo Bucs!Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I don't want to call anyone out personally, and maybe not everyone here feels the same way, but when I see a poster asking about a trade for maybe their 3rd or 4th different franchise they've started up in the past couple of weeks, I tend to just start ignoring those requests. I feel that if someone isn't going to put time into their 'chise and will just restart it soon anyway, why should I care enough to help them find a deal in a doomed 'chise?
Just a thought...back on topic now!
To the potential Twins deal (Hicks for Crisp), let me just say that Coco Crisp might have a bit more value than people realize. I'd say with all the prospect depth in the OF that the Twins have, Hicks would likely not be untouchable. Maybe, adding a bit more to Coco Crisp could make it a bit more fair, like Josh Donaldson, Grant Green, or Sean Doolittle etc..Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment
