If Hiram Burgos is a B, you'll need to add in a high C prospect as well. Maybe toss in Scooter Gennett? Bourjos is low B + high C.

Why do you need Bourjos? With Carlos Gomez, Ryan Braun, and Nori Aoki that seems to be a full OF. Is someone injured? Unless someone is injured this isn't realistic from the Brewers end since you'd be adding a logjam to the OF. It is also isn't realistic for the Angels to trade for prospects when they are in contention.

You can find the trade values for these players in the spreadsheet linked in the 1st post of this thread. If you are just looking for fairness, come up with something specific (for one of these players), propose it and we can help you fine tune. You'll find that Felix is not easy to get

Exactly what I was going to say... no reason at all to trade Bourjos for prospects when they are in position to win a wild card.

So from a realism standpoint it's not really realistic at all, but Burgos and Gennett would be fair.

Aoki is going to be hurt until about mid August, and I was thinking of doing Burgos and Henderson for Bourjos and if I get Bourjos I might trade Aoki in the offseason.

DeShields isn't someone I'm willing to trade, but I think this is enough.

            So the updated deal is:

J.D. Martinez, Matt Dominguez, Wesley Wright, Brandon Barnes, Jonathan Villar, Alex White, and Rhiner Cruz

            for

            Gerardo Parra and Patrick Corbin.
            IMO that's too much

I would suggest looking for a different outfield option, that's not on a contender, if you are looking for realistic trades. Not many teams are going to want to trade MLB ready players, while in a playoff chase, for prospects.

From a fairness standpoint that's fine, just know that most teams don't deal their starting CF while in playoff position! So, fairness is fine, realism is not so much..

Kind of the point, but thanks! The issue is with Corbin having a Cy Young season for me in game and breaking out IRL, I wanted to (as AC put it) make this trade sting a bit more. So I am in effect giving up a lot more value on paper, but with Patrick Corbin's value in flux right now, it's hard to say what's actually too little or too much.

Maybe not realistic, but if Corbin wins the Cy Young in game and IRL, I wouldn't want to feel as though I cheated the D'Backs for him.

So if you make a tradwe with another team and your player breaks out, you should now send more back to the other team... or vice versa. It's not your fault Corbin is having a break out year and a CY Young candidate.

ok yeah looking at it again the Angels really don't have another option behind Bourjos than Shuck or another below average player. How about Dominic Brown? I Could give the Phillies Burgos and Santo Manzanillo who I'm pretty sure is a mid C

In a sim dynasty I have going A's are in 4th, Twins 1st in their division...would Doumit+Hicks for Crisp+low C catcher prospect be fair for both? A's get a decent C/sub RF and younger Hicks...Twins get a better CF thet can help them this year over Hicks and only have to rly give Doumit...or would MIN need to add a prospect

Twins wouldn't make that trade. They value Hicks very highly and why would they trade Doumit, their starting DH and backup C along with Hicks?

Hes played like half the games...same with Hicks...they are using Arcia in CF and traded for Luke Scott who is DH ...the trade would move Arcia to the corner and Crisp CF..again Twins are 1st at all star break so giving them a guy they would start over 2 guys they are using for bench fodder lol they are missing a good lead off guy
