    Yay, more spreadsheet realism questions!

If the Royals fall out of contention, would Alex Gordon be tradeable with only a couple years of control left?

It seems like the Royals are actually trying to push for a playoff run (I can't believe I just typed that) after trading a top prospect for James Shields, so I don't think it would be realistic at this point.

Maybe in a year or two if they still aren't doing anything.

The way Gordon has been playing IRL I would say no...I guess it depends on stats/standings for Gordon/Royals to determine if real in your game

NP; I am sure It will since your dynasty is a good follow...happy to help whenever possible...also because you help so many people so often, I guess its fair to ask for help yourself sometimes haha

This isn't for my dynasty, I'd love Gordon/Gallardo/Mauer/etc but I'm not trading for them. 'Tis for something else. But I DO have something for my dynasty.

I have no qualms about realism with this, but what would have to be altered to an Edwin Encarnacion for Jurickson Profar trade for it to be fair?

Dam thats a tough one...who do you value more Profar or EE? Im guessing Profar...Problem is Texas has a lot of 1B/DH types

BTW I didnt think It was for your team but maybe you were planning CPU deals

Somehow I don't think they'd care given that Encarnacion is miles better than both of them. I just don't know if that would be fair..

I see something like Rasmus/EE for Profar/Berkman or Moreland ...maybe with some other pieces if TOR is out of it

EDIT: Texas would get a starting CF and solid upgrade at DH...Tor would get the best prospect they would play at 2B and a DH who can help em for the year

I couldn't see a deal placed around EE and Profar... You'd have to give up some pretty good prospects on your end for the Rangers to give up Profar for EE

Don't get me wrong, I like EE (I've dropped bombs with him as way back as MLB 09, before he got power ) but he's not the type of guy you trade the #1 prospect in baseball for

ummmmmmmmm..... Rays have Will Myers as their starting C. Is this close to being accurate. If not what could the Rays get for Joyce, Jennings or Luke Scott to open up an OF spot for Myers?

                        Joyce - .273/.315/.490 with 15 HR and 40 RBI (73 games)
                        Scott - .263/.333/.449 with 10 HR and 33 RBI (64 games)
                        Jennings - .210/.262/.326 with 8 HR, 39 RBI and 24 SB (71 games)

If I can find a deal (to any team but Toronto-me) then I can get Myers back to his real position in the OF

                        Thanks guys

Darn, that stinks. I was loving the idea of having "Baby Bull" and "El Oso Blanco" on the same team.

If they need to get rid of one of those three, in my opinion they get rid of Scott. Dude's like 34. He could realistically be a DH / 4th outfielder for a competing team in the AL for a team struggling offensively. I really doubt the Rays will do business with a team in the AL East in this situation, so your blue jays are safe for now

What do you think about Josh Johnson and Encarnacion for Profar? Jurickson has so far proven he's the real deal, and is the #1 prospect in the game for a reason.

From a realistic standpoint, JJ will become a free agent after this season, and has been injury prone. He's just coming off the DL for tricep issues I'm pretty sure in real life. If he struggles I could see the Jays shipping him off by the ASB.

Honestly guys, there are only a few players in baseball Texas would consider trading Profar for:

                                Miguel Cabrera
                                Justin Verlander
                                Robinson Cano (with extension)
                                Evan Longoria
                                David Price
                                Felix Hernandez
                                Mike Trout
                                Buster Posey
                                Matt Cain
                                Clayton Kershaw
                                Matt Kemp
                                Adam Wainwright
                                Ryan Braun
                                Joey Votto
                                Andrew McCutchen
                                Bryce Harper
                                Stephen Strasburg
                                Matt Harvey (maybe)
                                Cole Hamels
                                Giancarlo Stanton

Basically if your guy is not on that list, you ain't getting you some Profar.

Remember they wouldn't even entertain the idea for a guy like Justin Upton this past offseason, and J-Up's no chopped liver.

It has to be a bonafide SUPERSTAR to get Profar from the Rangers.
