I personally think LoCain is a perfect fit. You'd have to give up ML assets though. Like Daniel Murphy + something small sounds good.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
In my Phillies franchise in June. I'm looking to get a right handed bat or a backup infielder that can play SS so I send Galvis down.
As a reference I did a trade earlier in the year sending Delmon Young, Cesar Hernandez and somebody else for Nate Schierholtz, Carlos Villanueva and one other player. I sent down Mayberry for the time being to get at bats because he is in a horrible hitting and fielding slump. I will most likely bring it back up for Darin Ruf in a couple weeks but regardless I'm looking for another right handed bat."Ma'am I don't make the rules up. Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I'm not using 30 team control so I'm working within the computer trade logic. I can essentially get jayson werth for a low B prospect but I feel that would be cheating the system. What do you guys think of werth for Flores? I kind of feel like I'd be giving up to much but Flores doesn't really have a future with my teamComment

A bit of an overpay unless Ike Davis is playing like he is in real life. Trumbo is not the greatest NL fit either, but if you like him, go for it.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

He's not very good and this is the Marlins, but I just threw him in if the guy isn't 100% realism. Love Hech."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
It's June 13th, and my mets are 29-36 (playing all 162)
My bullpen can't close a game down for our lives and the beard lost his mojo
I need a shutdown arm out of the pen
Everyone is availible besides wright, Davis, duda, wheeler, Harvey, Parnell, EYJ, and niese.
Any suggestions?Mets, Giants, Rangers, and the Aggies

It's probably a little early in your 'chise to get a real dominant bullpen guy. If you wait another month you could add a solid closer or setup man if a team is out of contention.Denver Broncos

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys I am looking at options for a trade when this season is over. I am the Jays as most of you know and I took Rios as a rental to go for the title this year. After the season and playoffs are over I was planning on shipping him out to the Pirates. They need a RF bad and they also need a 1B since Sanchez is hitting below .200 and Jones is around .220. I have Ty Wigginton who I haven't used much but he would provide 1B/DH (NL DH as well) depth for PIT. Here are some stats:
Rios (90 Overall, high B) - .281, 11 HR, 47 RBI, 33 R, 18 SB (138 games)
Wigginton (74 overall, high C) - .235, 20 HR, 58 RBI (93 games AAA)
I like Russ Martin, Alex Presley, Jose Tabata, James McDonald, Jeff Locke as they major league players, but dont know much about the farm. Here are their stats:
Martin - .251, 15 HR, 45 RBI, 47 R (95 games)
Presley - .251, 6 HR, 22 RBI, 25 R (74 games)
Tabata - .250, 1 RBI, 2R (only 11 games)
McDonald - 2-5, 3.43 ERA, 1.40 WHIP (53 relief appearances ???
Locke - 0-2, 3.55 ERA, 1.55 WHIP (7 starts MLB) 6-8 4.21 ERA 23 starts AAA
Now I would imagine Rios could get me maybe a couple C's or a B prospect and I would think maybe Tabata for Wigginton would be fair since they have both been on waivers many times this year. So the Wigginton for Tabata swap would even out but what would I get with Rios. I wouldn't mind taking Presley (who hasn't been great) over Tabata, and maybe giving less for the Rios part.
Any brilliant ideas?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Im playing with the astros and im currently at the ASB and im looking to move the following players
Bud Norris - 4-9 3.56 era 86k in 113.2 IP
Travis Blackley - 4-2 3.53era 33k in 63.2 IP
Jose Veras 1-2 3.98 era 30k in 31.2 IP (i signed brian wilson to be the closer)
Carlos Pena - .235 avg 71 hits 18 hr and 61 rbi in 302 ab
Eric Bedard 7-6 3.40 era 74k 111.1 IP
Pedro Ciriaco .236 avg 35 hits 3 hrs 13 rbi in 148 ab (To the twins, Mets or Rockies Tulo is out for a month ?)
Im currently sitting in last place ( Not a surprise) 13 games behind so im pretty much out of it . The contending teams are as follows... Red Soxs ,Royals, Angels, Mariners, Athletics, Rays, Nationals, Philles, Reds, Brewers, Diamond Backs, Giants, Dodgers. Im looking for an everyday SS and RF as well as some help in the pen since the only bright spots have been Brian Wilson, Paul Clemens and Jose Valdez as well as prospects.
Thanks and sorry for the long post.Comment

Also, I am tired of WTNY thinking Coors is still the launching pad of the 90s. Check fg Guts! for park effects, it is still big but other parks are bigger and some of those guys can actually hit.Comment
