Probably not, no.
Alright, thanks for the input. I'll need to look for some other contending teams. I believe his spreadsheet value is 2 High B's. Also, how does Alex Rios to the Giants for Edwin Escobar sound?Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I really want to move Jay, so Taveras can start fulltime, and the Indians could use a OF, but a young SP could work as the add on player. St Louis is loaded with Wacha (85 A) Martinez (82 A) Maness (80 B), LHP J. Gast (79 C) and LHP J. Kelly (79 C) as their #1-5 in AAA...
Cecil is excellent but Maholm is a bit much."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
Actually, I'm the Sox, this trade is for the A's. By that last sentence it seems you think I'm the A's! They obviously don't need a SS because they have Russell, but they would love to have some infield 'spects. The Royals can be a great option because they are in contention even though they traded Shields last season! They are clearly doing something right and deserve a better ace than Santana. I was thinking Cuthbert be included? Maybe a pitcher as well?/QUOTE]
My bad, I apologize. Sometime these posts you reply to can get somewhat cluttered together an you lose track of what's been read or said before
Anderson to the Royals for Cuthbert and a low C like Luis Coleman would work

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
After more thought, I simply have to get rid of Reddick.
I have a dismal outfield situation in terms of depth. I have Cespedes, who rakes and plays well in the OF. Then I have Chris Young who plays reasonably well in CF. Without Reddick I would be playing Seth Smith in RF, and that's OK, but he's more of a platoon player with the bat.
Behind them, I have no depth in terms of prospects.
My areas of weakness include 3B, RP, C, and obviously OF. I'm not sure if it's realistic to trade an OF for an OF and another position player or pitcher, so any advice or specific player recommendations would be appreciated.
I'd like a righty if possible and would value speed, contact, and fielding over raw power.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
After one season with the Cardinals, I would like to move Matt Carpenter over to 3B to have Kolten Wong at 2B, and I would like to promote Oscar Taveras to play one of the corner outfield spots. That basically leaves Matt Holliday and David Freese expendable. What is the greatest return I could get for these players in a package deal, or traded separately?Comment
