Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Well Im currently playing the last game before the break. JP will be moved after this game but to who..so far I have:
JP+Stroman for Trumbo to Angels
JP+AAA RP for Carter+DeSheilds+Castro
Is there any other team that could want a C and if so what could be a fair trade? Also JP was named to the All Star team as the starting C so he would fetch more than normal JPComment

Regardless, the Angels is the more realistic and fair one"Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Cool, did you have a look at that PM. I would like to make a couple CPU deals during the break instead of leaving em all until deadline. ThanksComment

I'm not gonna have a chance to get to that unless you want a 30 second message. I don't respond to PMs unless I can give them the well thought out response that they generally deserve, don't like half assing things."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

OK Cool thats not a problem, Ill do a couple minor deals that I can use. Its a long post and a lot of teams needing help and needing deals so Ill wait until you can give a full response...thanks againComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
OK cant take Dickey anymore...He went from starter to AAA to bullpen and he just got rocked for back-to back-to back HR in 1 inning of relief...what could I get. I literally would take anything for him at this point.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
I am at the All-Star break and looking to make a deal for Texas. I am using the M' and have a 4.5 game lead. I already made a deal for the Angels filling some holes, made several deals for the Astros making them better now and hopefully much better next year.
Here is what I have in mind for Texas. Mega deal with the Marlins. I dealt D. Murphy to the Astros for 3B S. Dominguez (74 B).
Instead of dealing Olt to the Marlins, Texas deals Dominguez, Profar, Martin, Buckel, L. Jackson or M. Perez and maybe J. Gallo along with RP J. Soria for Stanton, R. Nolasco, CF J. Ruggiano and RP C. Qualls.
Texas's rotation isn't pitching well. Darvish (7-7 5.07), Ogando (4-4 3.86) M. Harrison (11-4 4.08) D. Holland (4-7 5.66) and Lewis (6-7 3.44)
To see the players stat's in the deal, just go to my thread it's in the 2nd to last post.
After the deal, I would also be trading J. Pierre and P. Polanco somewhere probably for another young OF or some pitching help for the Marlins.
This would give them a lineup of Dominguez-3B, Profar-SS, Martin-CF, Ozuna-RF, C. Yelich-LF, K. Skipworth-C, L. Morrison-1B, and either Solano or Hechavarria at 2B.
For Texas, they keep Olt for either a future deal, or to come play 1B until Beltre retires. The OF becomes, Stanton, Cruz and Ruggiano/Gentry. Still have Andrus at SS, plus Sardinas in AAA, plus still have solid young SP in Meek,Grimm, as well a RP Lindblom and Feliz.
Guess what I am asking, is am I having Texas give up to little or 2 much. Who would be better for Miami long term. Jackson or Perez and should I include Gallo being how they are getting Dominguez or should I go with another P like both Jackson and Perez, or put in Meek or Grimm.Comment

Any deal probably has to have Olt in it. Olt + Profar + Perez + Alfaro + something."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

I was considering add Alfaro to the deal as well.
So basically it would be Dominguez+Profar+Martin+Alfaro+ Perez+ (Gallo, Meek or Grimm) for Stanton. Then Jackson for Nolasco (not sure what Miami will get for him, but figured a 21 yr old who was/is a Top-20 prospect is fair. And Soria for Ruggiano/Qualls.
I don't want to screw over Texas and deal all their prospects, because I want the AL West to stay super competitive.Comment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
If Dickey's got a 7+ ERA and you can't stand him to the point he's been sent to AAA twice and tried in the pen, he's not exactly a tradeable asset. This is just the opposite of what you did with JP. JP had good numbers = trade asset. Dickey has bad numbers = not tradeable.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
You don't think the Marlins would be okay getting M. Dominguez back. He was their #12 Overall pick in 2007 and was used to acquire Carlos Lee.

Re: 2013 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Stanton may be a generational hitter but Puig is stacked for his age also and can be had pretty easily. First year of my franchise with the mets and I was able to send Justin Turner and Mejia to the Dodgers for him. Pretty surprising-if you have the full minors roster shoot for him instead.
As for my next move-I'm desperate for a middle of the rotation lefty, Niese just isn't getting the job done. I like Wade Miley but given his year last year I don't know if they would be willing to part with him. Suggestions?Comment
