Thank you for the trade offer but we are not interested in that offer at this time. At this point in Pelfrey's career, we value our younger arms more at this point. Especially with their rather low contracts. Willingham is an intriguing piece but as a LF and his age, we are content with Carlos Quentin and we would not really like to stick either of them in RF with the dimensions of our ballpark. Our bullpen is our strongest asset and too many arms as is between the MLB and AAA level so Fien is not really needed. We don't, at this given moment feel like parting with two young arms for three players in their 30's in positions not necessarily of need.

An intriguing prospect to us would be RF Adam Walker. Would you have any interest in SP Joe Wieland?

OK, Opening Day is nearly upon us and now the arb panel is truly getting interesting...Jeffrey Loria seems to have seized control in Minneapolis...
