Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread
Wow just lost 4 in a row with my Halos after bumping hitting to all star and on the verge of losing a fifth in a row when in the 9th inning down 5-4 with 2 outs I pinch hit Vernon Wells and first pitch... Boom 2 run walk off. It felt great, I had been struggling adjusting to all star hitting and this Win gave me some confidence. I'm now 20-12 with a 4 game leadLA Angels

My Marlins season is a miserable 4-28.
I wonder should I pack it in & reboot the season.Comment

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread
Bobby Jenks could be my middle reliever due to his age of 31.
K Rod as my set up man/closer. Brian Wilson would another option but would he be willing to be the set up guy on a team like the Marlins in real life?
Grade Sizemore is the best option for the Outfield as he is still kind of young and wont start regressing any time soon. For the infield I could sign Freddy Sanchez but his ratings will decline by around 15 points over the year since he is 35 or Ryan Theriot who will keep his ratings for the first year at least. That would only provide me with some bench depth however as those guys aren't/won't be much better than what the Marlins have already.Spending time with Jesus!

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread
So pissed first game of the reg season with my new look cubs made a nice amount of trades to get younger and better at the same time Jeff smarzadija goes 5 scoreless innings and then gives up a one run Homer in the 6th. Cubs up 4-1. He threw 11 strikeouts also I play on allstar
I Bring in my middle relief guy for the 7th he gets 3 easy outs Set up guy in the 8th 3 easy outs.
Now its bottom of the ninth cubs have 9 hits to the Pirates 4 the score is still 4-1 Cubs
I traded closer Marmol to the Marlin's for their 26yr old closer Steve Chisk or something like dat because was younger better and more cap friendly. He only has a sinker changeup and a slider. I figured that might be a problem cus ima big fastball guy.
1st at bat is a base hit. 2nd at bat double 3rd at bat base hit n one run scores. The score is now 4-2 I'm like please enter let my closer blow dis. Next at bat a out. 5th at bat 3 pitch walkoff HOMERUN 3 men score and my Cubs lose in the 9th 5-4 So Weak. Just like the f***ing Cubs I was so heated. Loo anyone got a good trade I could make for a power bitter. I have a lot of good players but no one I can trust for 20homeruns. After that game I signed Jim Thome with the hope maybe he can fill that roleOnly thing in sports that matters is Chicago Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks .

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread
I ran a test and Lohse regressed to 80 by the end of the regular season. So by that time he will be most probably be worse than Braden, who as well has a probably 3 more good years left after that. So I guess Braden is the better choice with the current regression system in The Show. That's also why I don't consider Roy Oswald an option, he is 35 and will lose around 15 points over the season..

This is something developers know is flawed and more than likely will be fixed in a patch.T.K.Comment

The regression that happens during the season won't be patched.Comment

Re: 2013 Franchise/Season Progress Thread
Yah, I read on the bug report site regarding this paticular issue that they believe they have found the problem as they were penalzing regression stage players in two areas, rather than just one. Pretty much hurting them double. That fully explains it to me...T.K.Comment
