Yeah I hate that I can't play spring training because it throws off a lot of players OVR's and attributes.

So I guess Braden is the better choice with the current regression system in The Show. That's also why I don't consider Roy Oswald an option, he is 35 and will lose around 15 points over the season..
Bobby Jenks could be my middle reliever due to his age of 31.
K Rod as my set up man/closer. Brian Wilson would another option but would he be willing to be the set up guy on a team like the Marlins in real life?
Grade Sizemore is the best option for the Outfield as he is still kind of young and wont start regressing any time soon. For the infield I could sign Freddy Sanchez but his ratings will decline by around 15 points over the year since he is 35 or Ryan Theriot who will keep his ratings for the first year at least. That would only provide me with some bench depth however as those guys aren't/won't be much better than what the Marlins have already.
I like the detailed simming its good info to know. Maybe platoon sizemore heavily so he only plays 90 games and doesn't get hurt. Also gives you a chance to give a young guy some playing time. I think you would have a dominant bull pen for two years but bullpens can be thrown together when needed. Wilson will be regressing then. I would rather target a year 2015/2016 probably for Marlins and give as many chances to unknown young guys and take the better pick position in the draft lwith a worse record Plus you can expand your search for projects like Chris Carter of the Astros. They are giving him 500 abs this year to see wht finally happens. Same with rizzos career and Jose Bautista although his mechanics jus finally clicked. Maybe Matt Adams for the cards is easy to get he could possibly blossom for you. So if you sim some more maybe look for some of these guys then you can get them on the cheap early
I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

The rookie of the year awards are horrible. I just finished a franchise The Al rookie of the year hit .235/.304/.429 and the NL hit .233/.305/.352

Using TNK sliders expect made human timing +1 everything else is same. My first game of the season with the A's. I am from Houston but don't want to use the Astros. My first time ever doing a season with an AL team for the show. Wanted a team in the AL West so i could play againist the Astros several times this year.
I thought the A's would be a fun team to use. Anyone else trying the A's or have used them before

So the rubber game of my royals franchise against the white sox ended in walk off fashion... for the white sox so im 1-2 now and go to philly for a 3 game set!
              Game 1: Guthrie v.s. Lopez

              Game 2: Davis v.s. Cook

              Game 3: Shields v.s. Lee

So im definetly looking to take the first 2 games of the series before sundays pitchers duel!

3 user cardinals , Redsox , and tigers.

The Cardinals finished their qwik 2 game series at the Chicago Cubs. Very fun series.Game 1 my starter Jarrod Parker gave up 5 runs in the 2nd and left a man on. 2nd pitch from Jaime Garcia, Alex Gordon deposits over the right field wall I'm down 7-0 !! I came back to tie the game top of the 9th 2 out. Jason kipnis 2 run homer. Then won in extras !!

Game 2 was close but Desmond Jennings had a day with 2 hrs !!

Wrigleys field was really unique and fun to play. The different ivy and wht seems like true accurate wall dimensions are an awesome touch. The walls are a little imperfect but that's wht makes it original. The dugouts are sweet too. The 12:05 game didn't feel like the players were being baked alive but it was only may.
I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.

Just curious some have mentioned as they advance in years in franchise that the game is inflating stats high era's and batting averages, hr's, also many high rated players. Could this possibly be related to the regression progress bug or is this something else?

21-18 with the triiiiibe.. Started off the season hitting the cover off of the ball but lately my offense has slowed up, i've got like 6 guys between 18-22 rbi's, swisher leading the team with 12 bombs.. while beltre's leading the league with like 37 rbi's lol. still struggling to go deep into games with my starters, but i think that's just a product of using the indians. im having so much fun though as this is the deepest ive gotten into a chise, and i dont plan on quitting anytime soon

                          August 6th, 2015

The Astros, Athletics, and Mariners hold a 3 way tie to lead the AL West. The Astros have been playing good baseball, and I like my chances of making the play offs. So, how does the season play out?

The Astros go 9-17 falling out of play off contention and getting swept in 3 series. Ridiculous how my team fell apart.

                          Here's stats on key players:
                          SP Chris Sale: 14-7, 3.69 ERA, 2SHO, 214.2 IP, 189 SO, 68 BB
                          SP Jacob Turner: 17-8, 3.96 ERA, 4 SHO, 195.1 IP, 79 SO, 60 BB
                          RP Joba Chamberlain: 6-5, 4.15 ERA, 3 SV, 3 BSV, 18 HLD, 80.1 IP, 64 SO, 20 BB
                          CP Jose Veras: 1-7, 5.89 ERA, 43 SV, 10 BSV, 44.1 IP, 38 SO, 25 BB
                          SS Myself: .303 AVG, 45 2B, 45 HR, 139 RBI, 90 BB, .391 OBP
                          3B Pablo Aguila: .311 AVG, 44 2B, 10 HR, 75 RBI, 40 SB, 78 BB, .393 OBP
                          C Angelo Hidalgo: .281 AVG, 28 HR, 100 RBI, 41 SB, 80 BB, .365 OBP

My offense is clicking, but my pitching is struggling badly. Idk if I can afford to wait for prospects to develop, next year may be a win now situation.

                          AL Award Winners:

Cy Young - SP Josh Johnson 17-8, 2.93 ERA, 130 SO (Blue Jays)
Batting Title - CF Mike Trout .336, 28 HR, 105 RBI (Angels)
Delivery Man - CP Tom Wilhelmsen 53 SV, 3.81 ERA, 47 SO (Mariners)

The World Series featured the Oakland Athletics facing the Washington Nationals. It took a full 7 game series to decide the winner, and in game 7, Strausberg brought the pennant to Washington! 3B Ryan Zimmerman is named World Series MVP.

                          Onto the Offseason!

Using TNK's sliders, 20-31 with Cubs. Brett Jackson will start in the OF fulltime. Soriano plain stinks, at the plate and in the field.

How many lefties do you face ?? I would take the 26 yo only because he prolly have 350 pa vs righties and 150 vs lefties. And I'm sure you have aleast 1 guy mostlikely 2 who hit lefties well already.
I play MLB exclusively with my cousin. Usually looking for info on Franchises. We played minor league baseball as 9-10 YOs on the Zephyrs.
