The only option left is to just play one year, stop before the last game and hold onto the franchise for the next edition.... but that only encourages them to not fix it since we'll end up spending the $60 again.

That's exactly what I did, stop before the last game of the year. I still remain hopeful they'll patch this issue. In the meantime, I've been reading a lot about the Hybrid rosters over in the roster forum. Sounds like a pretty good deal. I'm thinking about starting my franchise over with their new rosters and the designed sliders that coincide. From what I've read, everyone loves it and makes sim stats and in game play much more smoother.

We definitely got took this year its looking like for us PS3 users. I know some will forget soon enough and thats whay SCEA is counting on come next year, but for me personally I wont forget so soon on being shafted by them. I wont be buying this game day 1 and probably wont buy another game of their till I have to switch to the PS4.

Its too bad too, because with the franchise issues fixed this game would be a classic. I still love playing the game, but I shouldnt have to set house rules and do a bunch of off season stuff for other teams to keep things realistic.

And if they don't fix some of the draft logic and some of the other behind the scenes issues to me the carry over franchise will be useless to me. I do love the game play and appreciate all the effort and love for the game that's been put into the show but I don't really want to or think one should have to put that much effort into a franchise to keep it running half way decent.

Because it's fixed in our current patch that we are working on right now. You shouldn't make these assumptions without any factual info. Patches are a process and they can just as easily break more parts of the game than they fix. So they must be tested thoroughly, in addition some things aren't fixable in a month or two. There are hundreds of factors that go into these things. That's why you will only ever see us comment and say we are working on a patch and not much more than that until things are concrete in nature.

They keep saying a patch is in the works, but it is a bit surprising its taking this long. I keep putting off starting a franchise because of thinking a patch is coming, but at some point here in the near future if we havent seen things fixed, its going to be hard to believe they are going to fix it.

Considering they fixed the budget issue day 1 on the PS4, its hard to believe the PS3 would be hard to fix. Im sure thats not the only problem they are working on but it is a little riduculous were at AS break and game isnt fixed yet. Typically by now they have moved on to next years game, so its getting harder to believe we will see things fixed.

Whatever happen to real-time presentation that was in 11 and 12? I wish they would just go away with the cut scenes.

Yeah I wondered why they did away with this as well. I always played with real time presentation on. Maybe they will bring it back at some point.

PATCH IS OUT!!!! downside? It doesn't fix the budget issue. I think that's pretty much the final nail in the coffin for the ps3 version.

It seem obivious they want us all to switch to the ps4.The ps3 version of mlb the show has been out a month earlier than ps4 version.But as soon the ps4 version of mlb the show release within two month a patch to address the franchise budget has been issue.So now you can play multiply season on ps4 verison of mlb the show but not on the ps3 version.Well the decsion should be easy for everyone now im done.

Same here, I cant afford a PS4, so even if I wanted too I cant go out an get a PS4.

Game still plays great and with some house rules for yourself franchise can still be enjoyable since small markets still act like small markets. I know we shouldnt have to play with house rules, but unfortunately if you want a baseball game then thats what you have to do.

I tried to go back and play 13, but the upgrades to 14 just makes 13 unplayable now for me. QC's I have fallen in love with because you get realistic K and walks and it speeds the game up as well without having to cut thru scenes, which I wont do.

People just need to remember dont be so quick to buy their game day 1 next yr, its the only way to get thru to them is to hurt them thru sales. As long as people keep buying they will continue to do half @#$ work.

Are they even making a PS3 version for next year? MLB 15 The Show on PS3 or not? It's obvious that their focus is now on PS4. That doesn't give them the right to avoid fixing problems with the PS3 version. It's just not right! I'm certainly disappointed in such a solid game. I'm sure they have lost a lot of respect now. Shame on you SCEA!

I stopped playing mine. This is the earliest that The Show has ever been put on the shelf for me. I ususally play it until at list spring of the next year.

First time I've ever traded in a game let alone a Show title. I traded in both my Vita and PS3 copies.
