If I can make a suggestion, Knight, thanks for all your hard work first off...

Is there a way for you to put a link in your sig to the latest roster update file? I know when I first came on here it was nearly impossible to find...

        Thanks so much Knight.

At first glance Shafer (70) Vs. Kelly Johnson (84) speed wise seems odd. Is this part of the lineup fix tweaking?

          Yes.

Thankfully(in this case for the lineup fix)...speed has little to do with actual base stealing and I can control that through the baserunning attributes. I have Jordan faster than Kelly....but that would put him lead off.
If the Braves would just accommodate! ....I could go to the real rating.
You guys are just going to have to give me some leeway on the ratings for the lineup fix.
Once the patch is in...and I release the stock set and my own ratings adjusted set.....then you guys can slam me!

          Jackson...second position 1st....got it.

Thanks Maynard!......just the tip of the iceberg!

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. I know you plan on releasing a roster without the lineup fix but have heard that you will leave it with SCEA's exact attributes aside from the players you've created. It'd be a shame to not be able to benefit from everyone's hard work and research on attribute edits of current players just to not have the lineup fix. Don't know how hard it would be to post up a fully edited roster JUST minus the lineup fix.

            Thanks again

Great "test" roster Knight, it looks like your final will be very nice. In an attempt to contribute, I'll give you what I know about the Buffalo Bisons (Mets AAA) roster right now, as the Buffalo News just ran a good overview of the team today, and I'll be going to opening day tomorrow and can add any other changes I notice.

                Buffalo Bisons

                Pitching Rotation:
                Jonathon Niese
                Dillon Gee
                Nelson Figueroa
                Casey Fossum
                Brandon Knight

                Relievers:
                CP- Eddie Kunz
                Elmer Dessens
                Kyle Snyder
                Connor Robertson
                Eddie Camacho
                Carlos Muniz
                Ken Takahashi

                Position Players:
C- Robinson Cancel (Salvador Paniagua was listed at Bisons.com, but has vanished)
                1B- Nick Evans (Michael Abreu)
                3B- Rob Mackowiak
2B- Argenis Reyes (Andy Green, Jonathan Malo)
                SS- Jose Coronado
                CF- Cory Sullivan (Jesus Feliciano)
RF- Jesus Feliciano (Fernando Martinez is the starter, but is DH because of injury)
                LF- Bobby Kielty (Jason Cooper)

I saw that even in the early roster you were extremely close with the Bisons, so I hope that this can be some help. After tomorrow I can at least give you the batting order and any holes or players that have been dropped to AA. Once again, thanks for the awesome roster.

This is really impressive work. The level of attention to detail is amazing. And to think that this is just a teaser . . . wow! I had to run a test game last night and pitch with Trevor Cahill and put off my nightly CSI:Miami rerun with the wife. I think the full minors are going to be bad for my marriage, Knight.

Awesome work Knight - now I know what the fuss has been all about!

Just one quick change that I'm going to make for my White Sox that I thought you'd be interested in. John Ely, who Baseball America rates as the Sox #8 prospect, is not in this set. Here's his scouting report:

                          8. John Ely - 6'1, 190, 23 years old, RHP
Background: In his first full season as a pro, Ely skipped low Class A and struggled initially, going 3-11, 5.51 through mid-July. But he rallied to go 7-1, 2.86 in his last eight starts, helping Winston-Salem reach the playoffs. He has a history of winning, going 69-25 dating to his days as a star at Homewood-Flossmoor High in the Chicago suburbs.

Strengths: Ely's best pitch is a plus-plus changeup, and he does a nice job of setting it up with an 88-94 mph fastball with good movement. His 12-to-6 curveball can be an out pitch at times, too. Ely works fast, throws strikes and has never missed a start. He's a fierce competitor and fields his position well.

Weaknesses: Ely's curveball remains inconsistent and gets hit a long way when he hangs it. He sometimes seems reluctant to work inside, minimizing his advantage against righthanders. He lacks a big frame and a traditional delivery, and there's a lot of effort in his delivery.

The Future: With a solid rotation and prospects such as Aaron Poreda and Clayton Richard ahead of him, there's no reason to rush Ely. He'll move to Double-A Birmingham and could figure in midseason trade speculation, especially if the pitchers ahead of him continue to progress.

                              Hey Knight/Strut/Razr,

I tried to go back through the thread to find the answer to this, but it was a little confusing...hoping you can help me out here..

The most recent roster file you posted, does it contain Razr's pitch edits? This is extremely important to me because if that is in this set, I can go ahead and start my franchise, as I feel I can add in the Stances/Equipment edits that Strut is gonna do, and I play with the Red Sox, so I don't need to wait for the rest of the teams to be finished...

Again, just to clarify, are Razr's pitch edits in the roster set you posted?? And if not, then roughly when do you think they'll be in?

                              Thanks so much in advance!!

Terrible, just terrible. Not sure if this is the forum for it, but saddening news nonetheless.
