Re: Full Minors Roster for '09

Thanks Knight, I really can't wait for these rosters. You are the man, and everybody else that has helped you.

Knight I'm not really nitpicking because it's not really a big issue for me, because I can change it, but on the rosters you have up in the vault the lineup on the Pirates isn't exactly correct. You have McLouth leading off, Wilson hitting 2nd, Sanchez hitting 3rd, and Morgan hitting 8th. The Pirates have declared that Morgan will lead off with McLouth hitting 3rd, except McLouth will lead off when Morgan isn't in the lineup. Also I think Sanchez will probably hit 2nd and Wilson will probably hit 8th like he did last year.

Also Jaramillo was named the backup catcher and Ohlendorf the 4th Pitcher. Vazcuez and Karstens are still battling it out for the 5th spot. Snell and Duke were given the 2nd and 3rd spots and Gorzellany was sent to AAA last week I think.

Glad to see some other Pirates fans here too.

Knight, The Tigers offered back Rule 5 pick Kyle Bloom (pitcher) to the Pirates and they took him back, just in case you wanted to create him, he will be playing at AA Altoona.

I wish you could edit everything including the potential though. I'm kind of upset that McCutchen probably won't have an A for potential. I also think Tabata has proved that he is worthy of A potential too.

They should give you a special edition where you can edit the potential and make it more lifelike.

Hmm, not too sure about Tabata. Four year minor league career line: .296/.366/.401/.767. He had a nice 22-game stint in Altoona last year after the trade, but he hasn't really displayed superstar potential.

I really like Garrett Jones, I hope he makes it with the Buccos. Hey and Cutch is still in big league camp, went 5 for 5 today with a HR and 3 doubles and 2 RBIs, hmm could he make the big league club? I doubt it, but hey ya never know
Its great to see Cutch making the decision hard, but they wont bring him up at the beginning of the year, that way his FA clock wont start ticking.

              He is also only 20.

Since coming to the Pirates he has been a stud. In ST on Major League camp he has been showing that he has all-star potential. Many sports analysis have been saying that he might have a higher ceiling then McCutchen.

A change in scenery really did it for him.

Ryan Perry is looking impressive for the Tigers. Below is his pitch repitoire

                  From mlive.com/tigers

Detroit Tigers rookie reliever Ryan Perry has something his manager, Jim Leyland, calls "non-shakability."
He also has a 97-98 mph fastball that he commands well, a changeup and a "nasty" slider that he also threw for strikes here Saturday.

I'm assuming you're talking about the "AL SET ONLY." That is the only thing that Knight has released so far and is, as states, AMERICAN LEAGUE ONLY! He didnt do anything/much to the NL in that set...so the NL reflects nothing of his work for the coming set.

                        Knight,

Are these rosters including any attribute adjustments other than to make the lineups correct? What I mean is, as an example, G. Blanco for the Braves has a speed rating below what I think would be accurate. Even if you don't agree with this example, you get what I mean by attribute adjustments. Will your roster have ANY edits to the original SCEA player ratings?

                        Thanks

I'll get the lineups as close as possible...don't worry about that!
I'll get Morgan leading off...no problem.

                          Zimmermann....got it.

Perry is in....I made him rather impressive.
If you wanted to use him MLB right now...you could...for sure.

                                Soriano is leading off.

Kosuke 2nd when against right handed pitchers.
