Re: Knight - classic teams
Two things...
#1 the '95 Braves (the world championship team)
Also, Knight..
I would like to see where you have the best players all time from each team...so u could seemeingly have dimagio, gherig, ruth, mantle, maris, all of those on the same team for the yankees..and you could have like hank aaron on the same team as chipper jones...or sandy koufax on the same team as jackie robinson..any plans to do anything like that??Comment

Re: Knight - classic teams
My ultimate dream would be a seperate The Show Classic or at least a classic mode w/ classic stadiums and the ability to create/alter divisions leagues, create your own schedules etc. I would love to have NL only or AL only schedules.Comment

Yep.
There will be both a Classic Teams set and an All Time Greatest players set.
artdog....I'm right with you.
If SCEA ever gave us the ability to edit the league structure and the playoff structure......someone else would have to take over the Full Minors.
I would do nothing except create year after year of historical rosters.
Man...that would be MONEY!

Re: Knight - classic teams
67 Cards and 68 Tigers would be awesome.
I love the 1960's to about 1979 for oldtime teams. Glory days. Especially the 60's. I am biased since I grew up then, and that's why I am hoping Knight does some Era based teams. 1960's-1970's, 1980's-today, maybe even the 1920's-1940 (pre-war). Alot to look forward to!

Knight165[/quote I've made the decision that since i will not have time to finish my stuff from this season beore '10 hits the shelves, w/ '10 I wont do more than a few exhibitions w/ the new rosters. As soon as I get the game I will be starting on a classic season. I really, really, really want old stadiums incorporated into season play but I can do w/o if I have to. The retired number issue as someone who wants to do a couple of different yankee seasons is a little vexing.Comment

Re: Knight - classic teams
Hi, I'm new here, but last year I had started doing some classic rosters my self. As a result I was thinking and preping for this years. I was going to do all time classic teams from the year I was born 1972, so any player who played from 72 to present would be avaliabe to use. Anyway I know baseball almanac is a great online source you can look up old rosters by team or year. If you need research help I can help you a lot. The problem is though I'm not good with the transfering files and don't know enough to give you actually done players. But if I can give you name numbers weights, and I know who is good and who is not that sort of stuff
let me know
thanks

Re: Knight - classic teams
Guys....seriously....if your team has any history to it....you gotta at least get out of this CENTURY!
The Giants?.....and all you can come up with is '02!?
(unless of course you meant the 1902 Giants.)
