      AL NL
2B- ROBERTO ALOMAR / CF- RICHARD HIDALGO
LF- DARIN ERSTAD / 2B- JEFF KENT
SS- NOMAR GARCIAPARRA / 1B- TODD HELTON
3B- TROY GLAUS /3B- CHIPPER JONES
1B- CARLOS DELGADO/ DH- JEFF BAGWELL
CF- BERNIE WILLIAMS/ RF- MARK KOTSAY
DH- FRANK THOMAS/ C- TODD HUNDLEY
RF- MAGGLIO ORDONEZ/ LF- RONDELL WHITE
C- DARRIN FLETCHER / SS- RICKY GUTIERREZ

Now here are the real lineups from that season

      1. Roberto Alomar 2B/ 1. Barry Larkin SS
      2. Derek Jeter SS/ 2. Chipper Jones 3B
      3. Bernie Williams CF / 3. Vladimir Guerrero LF
      4. Jason Giambi 1B/ 4. Sammy Sosa RF
      5. Carl Everett LF/ 5. Jeff Kent 2B
      6. Ivan Rodriguez C / 6. Andres Galarraga 1B
      7. Jermaine Dye RF/ 7. Jim Edmonds CF
      8. Travis Fryman 3B/ 8. Jason Kendall C
      9. David Wells P/ 9. Randy Johnson P

      AL STARTERS / NL STARTERS

      PEDRO MARTINEZ /DARRYL KILE

You could have chosen Turner as the All-Star game site!

I did that too and got similar lineups....I do remember Larkin batting 1st in mine though..as well as Vlad batting either 3rd or 4th.
Those are some pretty imposing lineups!

Re: Turn Back the Clock: 2000 Season Replay-A Subway Series

Got to DL these and play one game last night, Giants (me) vs Rockies. It was getting really late and I had to get up early this morning so I cheated and skipped pitching on 3 or 4 innings. Had a great game, though, lost 6-5 (I blame the CPU pitching for me!) in 11 innings. Had 2 guys on in the bottom of the 11th and Kent flied out to the warning track in straightaway center to end the rally and the game. Bonds went 1-5 with a homerun for me.

I'm going to try and start a season (using Franchise mode, per Knight's instructions) with these this weekend, I just can't decide between using the Giants or the Red Sox. I realize I can play with both, but I just want to invest in 1 team.

          Giants.
Then you can go down in flames against my Metros in the playoffs.

Pro....I see what you mean...you don't lose the DH regardless because the game is scheduling it for an A.L. park.

Great job with these Knight, I have always been a Tiger fan and I remember that year very well, where we emptied the cupboard for Juan Gonzalez, and then in turn down an offer for 8 for 120 million. Good thing he did because he was pretty much damage goods after that. Anyways are you doing this MOM? or are you playing the majority of this? Between this one and the 1986 rosters I will be pretty busy. Joey I hope to have a write up of the your rosters and how everything is going with it.

Yes...mostly Manage only Mode...with a few games played sprinkled in.
Managing a tight one now...2-2 in the ninth.
Mahomes in relief of Leiter right now.

I usually play the games but for fun last night I played a Manage Only Mode with these 2000 rosters. U used Yankess v Orioles. This was my first MOM game and I had a hard time finding the bullpen to warm up pitchers. How do I get there. O's blew it open in the 8th because I couldn't change pitchers!

When on the field....go to to the catcher info box and hit X....bullpen is there.

Thanks MK. I didn't even see the Mound Visit option. The pause menu is totally different from the one used when playing instead of managing. I'm also unfortunately using a 10 year old Sony CRT non-flat screen to play and many of the smaller menu items are impossible to read. I've tried to find pictures of the menus online so I could memorize them and not have to use my very blind eyes to try and read the blurry characters.

Yeah I am trying to decide whether to play as the Tigers or go with the Indians...just playing a game right now MOM mode against your Mets knight with the indians, its a tight game 1-1, hampton against Colon, good game. What a killer lineup the indians had back in those days, never understood why they could never win a WS with any of those teams....and it was the only time I believe where they were paying money like the Yankees were....but they ended up falling flat on there face for spending like them.

Just curious, is there any reason this roster uses a CAP Tony Gwynn when he is already a legend in the Silver era teams?
