I find that's best...but this year...we can be a bit more liberal with potentials and even ratings. Don't feel strange if you rate a minor league player higher than SCEA rates some of the current low end MLB players. It plays and progresses well with the higher ratings.

Check them first. I had assigned a few generics...and they just didn't look as good to me. So I found some similar MLB motions. They probably have the animation that applies to all of them....but I just want to play it safe.

I'm not a total jerk-off though, I must say, I really appreciate the people behind making the roster.
Not a big deal. I think you just happened to be the one that CMH quoted.

No way to do that. Sorry.

Also, is there a way to make someones hair longer? The only example I can think of for this is like Manny.

Sorry I didn't know where else to ask this and I didn't want to start a new thread.
You have to edit a fake B player. CAP's are all A's..

I want to make sure I understand this correctly, you guys don't want me to create Francisco Lindor and somebody else will be?

Personally I would like to do the face and stuff for him but if you want somebody else to do him I wont be offended.[/QUOTE]

I'm sure Aroid wouldn't mind doing 99 players instead of 100!

I am happy to say....I completed the Angels last night.

Well.....I will probably have to create more players as NRI's get released, so complete may be a reach....but you know what I mean!

Holy cow Knight! I barely got two face edits done. Although I was pretty tired last night after work and didn't get much done.

        Nice work though.

Anyone signed up for the Texas Rangers yet?
If so, PM me and I'll pay for your subscription to The Texas Farm Review by Jason Park, which features detailed scouting reports for what I think is the Top 100 Ranger prospects. If not 100, it's plenty for our purposes. I think it will be an invaluable resource.
If no one has claimed the Rangers yet, I might be up to do the ratings and attributes, although this would be my first time to do this for a group.
I have created edited countless players for myself, though.
I will have to be walked through the process of getting the roster to Knight.
The faces and equipment will have to be left to someone else.

Wish I could help, but the only team I follow is the Cubs, and seems like they're already taken care of. Also, relatively new to the game and don't have much of an eye for detail... But thank you to everyone that is doing this, and looking forward to release!

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2012

Quick update on the status of KC... I have the following players completely done:

C-Max Ramirez, (D) (he didn't log an MLB game last year, so isn't in the game)
                  1B- Clint Robinson (C)
                  1B- John Whittleman (D)
                  2B- Irving Falu (D)
                  2B- Rey Navarro (C)
                  2B- Anthony Seratelli (D)
                  3B- Cheslor Cuthbert (A)
                  3B- Jamie Romak (D)
                  SS- Christian Colon (B)
                  LF- David Lough (C)
                  CF- Derrick Robinson (D)
                  CF- Brett Eibner (B)
                  CF- Bubba Starling (A)
                  RF- Wil Myers (A)

Hope to have the entire set done by the middle of next week. Except of course for the couple of guys I inevitably create and then they get waived, or an existing guy gets traded and I have to figure out who to create instead...that's the real pain in the butt with this whole deal. Just when you think you are done, they trade for some rule 5 guy, who you have to create, and then they cut him the last damn day of camp...

Does anyone know on the chart what the colors mean? Yellow, green? Like which means done and so on?

And with so many different people helping any chance this is done before opening day. I mean lots of people chipping in. I would but have no idea what I am doing lol

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2012

I was able to get almost all of the A rated guys done last night after moving them all to BAL. BAL is stacked!!!!

I need to know if I should hold off because people who are doing certain teams are overlapping players. I did all info, #'s, skin types, got rid of every prospects facial har (annoying), stances, and some deliveries.

I dont want this to get redundant, but if we allow the OSFM compadres to just do their respective teams and not ratings then myself and ARoid can finalize with ratings, pitches, and faces.

                      Thoughts?

Quick question... I know it was this way last year and it appears to be the same way this year:

If I have a pitcher that peaks at 95, where should his MPH be set on the editing screen? One or two MPH lower?

I can't remember which it was

For me, I am going to do all of the Royals regardless if anyone else is making some of them. I don't really care which one goes in the final version, I just feel it makes it a little easier to make all the prospects when you have other ones to compare them to.

I work off an excel based on Knight's, but once i have a bunch of guys in there, I kind of make some off the cuff tweaks to ensure that the players are where they need to be. In order to make Chris Dwyer as accurate as possible, it is easier if I also have made Mike Montgomery to compare him to.

So, for me, I am going to make the entire Royals roster regardless, as I feel it makes it easier to have the elite guys on there as I create the rest of them.

I'm going through and doing info and ratings for the Braves, but I don't have as much experience as you guys do, pretty much just going by the charts, and adjusting as I see fit to keep the depth chart in order.

I'd let the individuals doing the ratings for the teams to go ahead and get those done as a base, and then you guys can go through and tweak accordingly.

For Detroit we have divided the player creation among four people but are working off a single Google Docs chart.
