I like Bell and Polanco too. The game though doesn't function well when there are too many A potential players (too many early retirements).

Still if you think Bell, Heredia and Polanco should be A's, you'll be able to download the A versions from the vault once they're done.

I was thinking of looking for some C+ potentials to use for Sanchez, Dickerson, Irwin, Sampson, Oliver, Jhang, Santos and Pimentel.

C+ is slightly low for Irwin, imo.

not really sure if this goes in here but.... I think some of the major league team is underrated. This is my first year playing the show, and comparatively I'm not sure how things work with this game but Cutch speed at 83 and Ryan Braun 85??? there are a few more but I'm at work so I can't remember them, I thought Pedro and GI Jones were slightly under rated also, and they have Travis Snider hitting better against left handed pitching by alot, I'm not sure if that was the case last year but it doesn't seem likely. and I don't think Tony watson was a sidearm pitcher but I can't remember, and there are a bunch more but I have to get back to you. Pedro has an inaccurate cannon arm, imo. I watch about 100 pirate games a year

if I can find the time I could help with player ratings, I have done complete roster sets in the past on my own, in years that I could find the time. I think they were generally well received. 2k10 and 11 for xbox.

I see Phil Irwin as Kyle McPherson 2.0. Has only average stuff but he knows how to pitch (change speeds and locate pitches well). He has a low walk rate but he doesn't miss a lot of bats and has low k/9 numbers.

I think C+ is good, B's are usually reserved for potential above average to all star caliber players. C+ with good attribute ratings will be a back of the rotation or good bullpen arm.

You're in the right place (lots of Buccos fans here). I agree, the SCEA ratings are pretty goofy. However for the OSFM roster we won't be editing SCEA players. I think after the OSFM roster is released someone may update the ratings.

Hey guys I hate bothering you while you're trying to get everything done, but do any of you know if someone is working on stances, equipment, or pitch repertoires?

                  Final list looks like this.

                  Cole A+
                  Tailon A
                  Hanson A-

                  Polanco B+
                  Heredia B+
                  Bell B+
                  Barnes B
                  Kingham B
                  Black B-
                  Glasnow B-
                  Holmes B-
                  Mathisen B-
                  Herrera B-

I'll probably make second versions of Polanco, Heredia and Bell with A- potential for Pirates fans.
How would that work? Would you just change it from the opening day osfm roster?

I'll create A versions, upload them to the player vault and let everyone know here that they can download them. Once downloaded you can import them into the OSFM roster and then start your franchise.

Has Knight decided what roster update he'll be basing the OSFM off of? (aka Opening Day Set, etc.)

Can't wait for the roster changes. I can't do Franchise without it. It'll be nice to push the SP duo and Hanson.

I might just promote Hanson off the bat. Screw Barmes

Just looked through, I don't know who did ratings last year but it wasn't me.

Could pick them up if needed, though.

List of A's/B's looks good. Can we set them as A+/- this year or is it going off of comments again? Also, in the one thread it's showing Taillon as an A-...is he definitely an A? They have Gausman in the A bracket but no Taillon, which is odd.

I'm just going to post this because it annoys me on my own game. here are some attributes that need change for the existing major league player, I think this is what they should be. Travis Snider rt contact first thenstraight down 66,53,60,51,29,16,48,48,58,73,53,65,58,54,62,33,35 . Jose Tabata because I truly believe he will bounce back 73,68,42,46,52,42,80,56,74,68,82,55,53,72,68,58,63 . may have been a little generous with Tabata, I guess we will see, but I am a huge fan of what it could be.Cutch speed 93, Pedro arm strength 95 and I would give his power on both a bump of 4 to 65 and 87. GI Jones deserves a little bump as well con LL 39 R73 pwr L 56 R82.

I have more for lesser players but I'm sure nobody cares about these anyway, i just feel better for having posted this, lol.

Personal preference... I like Gausman's stuff better than Taillon's, both have two plus-plus pitches but I am more confident in Gausman developing a third plus pitch.
