Probably not the place to post this question, but where would I find Fictional Rosters for MLB 12? Reading through the first few pages of this thread makes the prospect of using them sound intriguing.

(Also, on a semi-related note...has anyone ever done up a roster based on the Cleveland Indians in Major League?)

I'm not sure who did them before last year... Maybe check old forums, see what you can find.

And I'm sure somebody has, there are always all sorts of Rick Vaughns in the player vault.

Good to know. Obviously our signals just got crossed up somewhere, sorry I got a bit edgy. I'm doing my best to wait patiently, just anxiously awaiting that big wave of help.

I'd be happy to create a bunch of players and upload them, if you tell me what you're looking for. The only catch would be, if you use them, they don't get altered and you let me know where they end up...

Must be a generational thing. To each his own, but for me personally I see "low socks" as one of the ugliest fashions in all of sports history. Needless to say there won't be much of that in this roster set. I'll throw in a few guys with stirrups and plenty of bent brims, but very few if any low socks.

I don't quite understand what you mean by low socks because I thought the only thing you could was what type of you pants you wanted like baggy which went all the way down to the bottom or showed your socks and a couple of other options. Could you post a screenshot of a player with the low socks so I can see if I actually want to use them or not.

Have you played the game before? I don't have a screenshot readily available, but the options for sock fashion are high socks, long pants, baggy pants, stirrups, or low socks. Low socks are when they are bunched up around the top of the shoe with the elastic band.

Yea I have I just don't remember what they look like because whenever I created myself I used baggy pants

They're basically the 90s style... I'd upload a pic from google but can't with my phone. Just try looking for pics of baseball players from that time period... Maybe Maddux or somebody like that.

I think Jeter still uses that style. Think Lenny ****stra Style..tapered tight ankles making his thighs look like tree trunks

Hahahaha spot on description. I know Jeter used to but for some reason I think he might have turned towards long pants somewhat... I know Verlander used to do the low socks, but I'm not sure if he still does. I'm fairly certain he doesn't in the game at least.

Thanks for all the efforts. I am waiting for the Ps4 version, so hopefully I can start with these. I can't comment on the socks, either, due to a previous agreement.

I am really excited about this game. I also wonder if there will be more uniform slots (not editing, but actual uniform choices like home, alt, away, etc.) for the Ps4 version. I hope so, but either way, I am still debating over what team to take over in my Fantasy Draft with these rosters...with YEAR-to-YEAR saves!!!

NY Mets?
Red Sox?
Mariners?
Pirates?

What uniform options and stadium the team occupies plays a vital role in which team I choose, so right now, I just cannot decide.

So many good stadiums, so many good uniforms for individual teams, 17 days to decide...ahhh, but it is a good problem to have.

I am also praying they add ported versions of the Classic Stadiums, though my hope for that is, sadly, close to nil.

It's funny, I can only use the all blue road jerseys with the Royals. Nothing else seems right!

You seem to have a lot of hang ups about baseball, but its how you like to play. I guess I have my things too. As long as you get some enjoyment out of the game somehow
