I enjoy fantasy rosters.

I wasnt being rude but stating an opinion based on your posts.

You repeatedly state over and over again you can only play with stirrup socks, curved bills, old school uniforms, blue uniforms etc and state your opinion that anything else seems wrong to you, disrespectful to the game among other terms repeatedly....

I have never insulted you, told you that it was wrong or been rude to you. I simply stated you seem to have a lot of hang ups and Im glad you can still find a way to enjoy the game somehow. I also qualified it by saying I have my things as well...I just chose not to share them...

Youre on a forum and I wasnt trolling you and I am one of main commentators for this particular thread. Im glad you like the game, the rosters and are looking forward to the release but hopefully you can relax and enjoy the road getting there too and not "argue" with everyone in the thread. Thanks

Trying to get at least a few players done now since I have a little free time. Hopefully can do 10-15 tomorrow morning too.

I will have 25 complete/ratings/faces everything/tested tonight and will upload...I may start cheating and use some generic guys in the minors and just get the ratings done...if needed me or someone else can tweak the appearances..seems to be what takes me the longest..

It just occurred to me I have not tested out any of the almost 40 players I've created, including my own and the handful from the spreadsheet, to see how they'll actually look in game. I'm new to this lol. Guess that's a priority when I wake up tomorrow morning before I start creating anymore.

I just put them all on one team and play a quick counts game to see how they look..test velocities, ratings etc...Im sure they will be tweaked or updated as more people play and test them so its not a huge issue...I made changes to the generator already just because of some of things I found just in producing the number of players I did here and from your feed back.

Have you found yourself adjusting anything in particular with pitchers? I've picked and created about 10 pitchers from the spreadsheet. I think I lowered the stamina on one guy by a few points and lowered velocity a couple of points on another because he's like 5'11 and in like the mid 170lb range, so a really high velocity fastball seemed strange, at least to me.

Just wanted to make sure there are no constant changes on every pitcher you've been creating.

just velocities on some fastball pitches...when the velocity of an off speed pitch has a high rating it pumps up the fast ball so i just make sure to adjust as Im doing it and update the spreadsheet..everything is a random rating between 2 points based on whatever was picked during creation...it should be fine overall but just do what youre doing..adjust as needed..shouldnt be too much to tweak

Honestly guys, once I receive your players I double check and test every single one anyways... So you guys can just work however is most efficient for you, I just wanted you to know I personally check everything before it goes into the rosters anyways.

I'm just curious...maybe it has already been answered. I am looking for a roster download that has all "real" MLBPA players removed with generic players with fictional names (not just Joe Random). I'd like to start a franchise with no good players at all, cause I'd like to treat it like summer collegiate baseball or independent pro baseball. Has there been a roster like this uploaded to the roster vault on PS3 yet? If so, PM me or reply. Thank you for your help and response.

Not necessarily "bad"...just not a bunch of 99s or 90s even. But for the most part, just the real players out and a more generic player in. Just not "Joe Random" with a 2 overall. Just wondering if one existed. Would like to start a franchise, (and in my own crazy world) believe that it's independent pro baseball or summer collegiate wood bat leagues.

That's pretty much what we're doing here, except there will still be at least a handful of players in the 90's and I would imagine at least 1-2 players at 99.
We want this roster set to play like a real sim experience, just our own world. So we still want realistic stats all across the board.

Exactly... Aside from a select few minor tweaks, this roster set aims to be almost a mirror image of the MLB, with all fictional players. There are currently only 2 99 overall guys, and I'm not planning on any more, but we'll see what happens. Have you checked out the new rating system this year? There aren't many guys in the 90's... There are even teams without any guys above 90 in the default roster set. This roster set will aim to reflect the default roster set except in an entirely fictional way.
