I'm sure it can, but life is short. Waiting around for an extra 1000+ players for the bush leagues isn't exactly time well spent for a lot of us. But que sera, sera.

At this point I'm more concerned in meeting the goal of a full minors set than I am worried about how long the wait is for people who don't care for a full minors set. Surely you can find something better to do with your time rather than sitting on the couch simply waiting for these rosters to be released

Talked with creator, whenever I get my ps4 copy, I'll be starting on the minors, hopefully creating a good jump on them with top level prospects, etc before he or anybody else starts on them. That should cut a good chunk of the time down I'm hoping.

Okay cool. I can't start creating yet obviously, but I can start planning some guys out. Should I focus on creating MLB ready players, or should I worry more about Triple A/ Double A, and if the minor league route should I mix in an occasional A/B prospect along with mostly C/D's? And do I pick a team I want the players to be on (say the Cardinals for MLB or the Iowa Cubs for AAA) or do you randomly assign players to teams once created? I don't have a ton of experience with the face generator, but I helped with some of the ratings on the Brewers OSFM set this year, so I can have the attributes down pretty well.

I should also throw out there that if anybody ever has trouble coming up with ideas for players, talk to MLB Bob. He has an impressive generator program, and has a spreadsheet of players ready to be made.

Hi sorry I'm late to the thread post blow up (in the fact that it grew by several pages and not a comment of the conduct) I'm firmly behind creator2700. I've had a similar goal to him and plan on using the completed roster as a base of sorts for a second version.

As far as this version goes, its for this year and future iterations. The time should be put in with quality work and gotten right the first time so it will hold up for the carry over franchises. I understand people wanting it as soon as possible but most want quality full minor rosters. I will be using them for RTTS so minor leagues of all levels are crucial. I also plan to use them for my franchises.

Now for people that are good at creating faces pm me and I can generate you the types of players you want. I have a generator that allows me to select player types in hitting(silver slugger, power, contact, avg and bad) fielding (gold glove, solid defender, avg, bad) and speed (fast, avg, slow) I also can select ethnicity, level and potential. It takes all these variables into account and creates a players name based off names available in game and a bio (ht, wt, age, bat and throw) with ratings It is also offers secondary positions I've tweaked it lately

It also generates pitchers (ace, front end so, back end Sp, power sp, command sp and fringe starter) and for bullpen (shutdown, mid relief, bullpen depth, power and command relief). Also crests a bio like position players.

I have a sheet were working from now but if you want your own set if guys or have "types" of players you want to make send me a pm and I'll generate a work sheet.

I enjoy making rosters. I enjoy making generators. I spend my winters working on this stuff for the game every year. I am bummed because I had equal ambitions as creator 2700 but my gf had my first child march 7th. I'm not getting the free time I use to. I'm taking a few days off work to add as much help as I can. So if I can be of any help to others out the please pm me. I'll make the time somehow

Darn that child huh? Nah I'm jk... I totally understand what you meant, I just got a chuckle out of it. ;p

But seriously, this guy had this whole thing planned out... Life just got in the way. So if you're somebody good at faces, or just prefer a more structured set up, contact MLB Bob and he'll steer you in the right direction for creating players that you can later submit to me for the roster set.

I love her. She's friggin cute as hell and watches every game with me (actually sleeps on me) and does the same when I game..cause I'm selfish and play mlb the show and not just make guys all the time. Sorry fellas lol

But I will be picking it up soon and getting the ps4 I hope makes the creation process more fun and get a breath of fresh air

We are now allowing people to work specifically on one organization of their choice if interested... It's mostly minor leaguers but it's a good way to get your guys on your favorite team, at least in a few years in franchise. Let me know if anyone is interested.
