Don't worry guys. My birthday was Thursday, and my girlfriend and I celebrate out 2 year anniversary tonight so I basically took the weekend off. First one off since the start of the project! I'll be back at it tomorrow night though If you have players out and I haven't downloaded them, please PM me and let me know. It's hard to keep up when guys post in here that they have players available. Thanks

Also, I'd like to thank most of the community for their support. This is quite a project, and I appreciate that there are more people supporting and helping us than there are whining and complaining about a project they haven't even contributed to yet. So, thank you to everybody who has supported us in this project.

I have been traveling for work this week and am coming home tonight, so I will be able to continue working on creating more players. I have about 15 already completed and I'm trying to fill an entire team with created players before I upload.

Also, would it make more sense to move this thread to the PS4 roster section? We may get more interest from those playing the PS4 version.

Yeah it would, it has certainly crossed my mind. I don't feel like going through the headache of trying to get a moderator to move it... This project gets pushed to the side a lot given the hype that surrounds the OSFM project. If you'd like to try to get it moved over... I would be forever indebted to you

Sounds like this project is going on a little slow.

I was wondering... is there any way I could help out in any capabilities you need me? I can't say that I'm awesome at making faces, but I could try...? I know I'm pretty solid with names, equipments. Not too sure how you would want me to do with the attributes though.

Can't make promises that I'll be an awesome roster-maker, but at least it's something...?

Saddest part for me is that once it is done (?), I get to go back and change every player to stirrup or high socks, no tar on helmet, and a "normal" cap brim.

Hours upon hours upon hours of work, on top of what was already done. I appreciate the efforts, but cannot say how it kills me to know that everything done first hand will have to be redone by me.

That doesn't sadden me at all lol. Seems like it's just your personal preference to have your your roster almost exactly the same. This is 2014, guys wear their hats, socks, sleeves, etc... differently.

I see where you're coming from though, but most people will want to change something on this roster before starting their franchise. I know I'll be finding all my players an importing them as I created them and maybe trade some guys around if needed.
The important thing is that this roster will give us the base set to make our "small" changes, because if we did it on our own it would take FOREVER haha.

I know in the player editor there is the option (square button) to randomize faces, accessories, ect.. is this allowed. this speeds things up quite a bit

Also, I ever so sincerely apologize to anybody who has a problem with me spending 30 minutes of my time creating this challenge rather than creating more players.

Honestly, do you know the definition of the word "uniform"? They are SUPPOSED to be the same, as per the definition.

That aside, it is the fact that George Hendrick's "Pajama Pants" era just looks asinine. No other word for it. Except maybe stupid, ridiculous, idiotic, foolish, silly.

It is beyond my belief that the people who have been in baseball for a long time (ie, managers, GM's, coaches) don't fine the players SEVERELY for looking like such idiots.

Cannot wait until this "fad" is gone!

Did you know George Hendrick did get fined for looking like that? He was just rich enough that he didn't care.

It will be nice when there is more to do with these rosters than talk about how ridiculous today's player looks.

This thread started in January, and began being posted in late-March. That's March, April, May and part of June...of course it is not going to be just about that topic.

In other words, this is taking a long time. I am not at all complaining, but in the 4 years I have watched these things made, it never took much longer than a month.

This is now going on it's 3rd month, and you really think people will continue to talk about nothing but this the whole time? Especially in today's "Right Now!" world? Seems unlikely to me...

If you want to continue this debate you can PM me. People don't come to this thread to see what you think about modern day uniforms, but they don't come here to see people fight either.

One last note - if you have a problem with how long these rosters are taking, you need to realize that it isn't the job of anybody working on these rosters to cater to the people who want to play with them. We work as fast as we can, to the high quality we want. Also, most importantly, we do it for FREE! If you want to pay me for this, I'll quit my day job, work on rosters 8 hours a day, and be done in a couple weeks.

How exactly could you possibly know what everyone else who comes here is seeking. I made a comment about MY regrets, someone else made a snide comment to that, I tried to explain why I felt that way...then you get controlling over the thread.

I never said I had a problem with how long these are taking...so maybe you should look internally as to why you get so defensive to everyone about it. I actually have stated quite the opposite many times.

I've told you before, I have been making rosters since 1988 (and for many versions of NFL games, too). Last few years I just don't have the patience to do it right, so I stopped for now. A forum is for sharing of ideas; relax, do the work if you want, and don't look for arguments everywhere...that's what it seems like to me. Anyone who doesn't blatantly agree with you is a trouble maker.
