Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

I've started to do the potentials for the MLB players. I've done them for all the catchers so far. Check it out here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...rive_web#gid=8

This will help the Franchise experience a lot. Seeing all the players top out at 60-70-80-90 is real frustrating. I use JAWS to help me figure out where the guys stand compared against one another.

Also around 25 players added in so far... Andruw & Chipper Jones, Dye, Guerrero, Grudzielanek, Urbina, Gant, Osborne, L. Castillo and Edgar Renteria are stand outs...

I say I do all the potentials, and 25 more players and I release this as v2.

That's awesome! Thanks, Phil! Will V2 have the faces/equipment done also?

        For the NL East, yes!

All the guys that I put in have them also.

Just updating... still improving Potentials. I've done all the fielders except the CFs. I'm thinking about doing those and then the closers and keep the other pitchers' potentials for V3.

This weekend, I actually played the game for the first time (not counting the random HR Derby during simmed seasons... that's right I had never ever played a game before this we, I've had the game since launch too.) I loaded up OSFM (well, OS94 is sort of boring to play in RTTS right now... you play against a bunch of generic clones...) made myself as a starter and I got to say, those prospect games and that simulated draft with the announcer calling all the draftees was AWESOME. I truly was looking forward to who would draft me, and it ended up being Baltimore 14th) . I finished university, reentered the draft and went 1st overall to HOUSTON (AWWWWWWWW!!!! **** ME!!!) which sucks terribly.

On the flip side, I was called up to the majors after 4 games in AA because the Astros are so awful. And I've won the ROY and Cy Young awards my first season :-p

Great MLB The Show game play as always. Awesome, can't wait to play OS94 with full 90 men rosters! OSFM is fun, but what I know best and love is 90's baseball.

Once your version 2 is out, I may go through and randomly name all the generic players so I can start my RTTS. I appreciate the hard work you have put into these rosters.

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

I would do that myself, name all the generics after the players they would be eventually, but I just think it would look cheap, like I just botched the whole deal and made every MiLB player in America a white boy that plays exactly the same as the other white boy that's listed above it, but with a different name. Plus, having generics helps me figure out who I've got done or not.

I'm now up to 57 players added in.

I'll keep going for this update until I get all the big prospects in. Got A/C Jones, J. Schmidt, Dye, E. Renteria, L. Castillo, B.Wagner, Loretta, Urbina, Grudzielanek, Isringhausen, E.Alfonzo, S.Rolen and a lot more in right now. 55 players on 12 teams plus 2 free agents. Want to do all the guys who will establish themselves in 95-96 in for V2, will do more players in this update than I expected.

Then V3 gets more new players (Probably finish the AAA level), more faces, RP/SP Potentials, probably custom equipment for all the players that don't have it...

The mod's coming along real good.

Dude I so can't wait to see these rosters come to life in full 90. Man format. I just got done with a big project on Pirates edits and service time fixes on a ton of CAPS so If you want some help with faces I have some free time now.

You know, I think Betterai could use some help to get through this :-)

I'm thinking, maybe you can do some American League faces? AL East?

                  Thanks!

OK cool I can go though the AL East starting today. Is the most current version loaded on the vault so I can have a base starting point?

V1 is :-) All the players that need faces are in there.

When you'll be through, just reupload the file with the faces done, I'll export/import the players in.

                      Thanks again!

Sorry, I've been getting slammed with work lately leaving me with hardly any time to work on this and in two weeks I'm having surgery

I'll complete the NL Central faces and see how much of the NL West I can get thru before I'm laid up
                            OG.

Most know me as DJ Rhude.
