Just realizing the range of players that will be in this once done... from Carlton Fisk (All-Star in 1972, total non-factor in 1994, but still he's in.) to Aramis Ramirez who is still active!

I really hope I can finish the 90-man roster here. I'll never need another baseball game.

Between this 90 man project and JMyers/Jethro's 90 man 1987 project....I may also wait a while before picking up 15 (like after the summer when it's half the price) to transfer over these files.

Keep up the great work Phil....the V3 roster is awesome and I look forward to playing a full on franchise with the 90 man.

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

Version 4 is out! Get it in the vault! 145 new players in, bigger names in bold (I may have missed some that are better known...) We've also got our first three career minor leaguers in there (Martin, Northrup and Hardge)

All of the Expos' 45 fielders are real, including the three minor leaguers listed above. First team to have either all fielders or all pitchers completed.

RTTS fix works when it wants to... but I'm not redoing the whole thing again. Franchise works perfect though.

Thank you for the support, I WILL finish this project!

All I can say is: Excellent job (especially because I'm an Expos fan)

What are your plans for V.5?

            More players.

More guys who were in the bigs in 1993 but not in 1994.

I'll mix in some younger future mainstays in there, too. A.Ramirez, Polanco, Beltre, Cairo, Damian Miller, Tejada, Mantei, Big Papi, Kerry Wood, Dellucci, Kotsay, etc... And lots more that would be in like Single-A or in the Rookie league, or drafted and still in college, or to be drafted in 1995 or (limited) in 1996. Also some more Japanese guys like Masato Yoshii, Makoto Suzuki and Tsuyoshi Shinjo.

I'd expect 200-250 guys in that one.

No. 5 coming along great! Almost 100 guys in already.

I'll make a change: I hate seeing those 1995 prospects on the free agents list. It's way too easy to cheat in Franchise and get Erstad, Helton, etc so I'll stick all 1995 and 1996 prospects on the teams that would eventually draft them.

Just checked and I'm over half way done with the 90-man roster project!

Not counting the two expansion teams, but counting the free agents list, there are 2640 players in the game. As of now, there are 1124 generic players left. So, over 1500 players are in! 53 players on average per team.

A good reason for SDS to expand the age range from 18-45 to
                      16 or 17 to 50.

No. 5 is out! 202 new players in, and probably the biggest range of talent in one single update yet!

You get has-beens! You get never-weres!! You get big prospects!!! You get never-will-amount-to-anything prospects!!!!

Beltre, A. Ramirez, Big Papi, M. Ordonez, Tejada, Polanco, Cairo, Dempster, Glaus, ARQUIMEDEZ POZO!

                          Full list below!

                          Spoiler

I'm not sure how many big names will be in future updates. I think I pretty much cleaned up what I had researched in terms of big names. I guess, you get loads of scrubs till the end!

EDIT: I have around 150 guys figured in for number 6 and the biggest names so far are Pedro Guerrero, Dale Murphy, the best career .500 winning percentage pitcher ever in Dennis "Oil Can" Boyd (and you better bet his first name will be Oil Can.) and also Michael Jordan, but unfortunately, this isn't a basketball game. And Mike Scioscia as a Port Charlotte Ranger. Played one game for them.

4 old guys and a basketball player. Heh.
