Finished inputting the Braves and watching Expos VS Braves from 1994 in MLB 14 as we speak :-p

Also put in proper stances and deliveries now that baseballking did his magic and we have the list.

    Potentials for the Braves...

A: Glavine, Justice, Lopez, Maddux, McGriff, Pendleton, Smoltz

B: Avery, Bedrosian, Blauser, Klesko, Lemke, O'Brien, Olson, McMichael, Mercker, Stanton, Wohlers

C: Belliard, Bielecki (High C...), Gallagher, Hilt, Kelly, Mordecai, Oliva, Pecota, Sanders, Tarasco

    D: Woodall, Brown

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

So, now that we have editable guys with service time, I re-did everything I had done and gave everybody the closest service time that I could. All fielders are relatively close (so, guys will be Free Agents when their contract end if they have 6+ years of service) but the editable pitcher with the most service time has 3 years, so not all pitchers have their experience level, in the future I'll revisit those that would need more service time if new editable guys have more. The only MLB guys that will have the rookie tag will be ACTUAL rookies!

So, Expos, Marlins, Braves are now in the game. Will be copying down Mets and Phillies tonight and put them in tomorrow.

ETA for finishing the mod is roughly a month.

This is awesome! I don't know how any of this works, but I'm glad some people on here do.

Is it possible to do files from older The Show games? Knight mentioned his 2000 roster ... that would be golden to have that on MLB 14. The 1987 set from MLB 11 and all of PJ's files from last year would be so cool to have on MLB 14.

Yes! I have all the rosters on my USB stick.

JMyers 1987 90 man full minors roster was truly incredible!

So if Phil is interested in porting any other classic rosters from 11,12 or 13 I would be more than happy to send a USB stuck to him to port the rosters onto 14 for PS3

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

I'll see what I'll do after I'm through with 1994 :-) That JMyers set was awesome, as were PJ's. I'd do 1990 from PJ. It has every player from his previous sets.

Also, right now up on the vault: O.S. 1994 (4 Teams Beta). Look for my name: Phil Parent

Play as the Braves, the Marlins, the Expos or the Mets. No custom equipment, partial faces, they'll be done in bulk at the end, but I've done enough of the faces (Face shape, facial hair, eye color, eyebrows, hair, skin complexion, eyeblack, glasses...) that everybody will at LEAST look similar and some guys don't need much more morphing to look spot on.

I've done pitcher rotations and lineups to the best of my recollection. I'll probably go into Knight's set and copy those down too before final release.

There is a difference in calculating overalls between MLB 12 and MLB 14 so some guys are OV'd higher and some lower BUT, OV is pretty much only cosmetic and it shouldn't affect gameplay. I'd love if you guys could play as the four teams (against one another, I suspect the default teams would overpower them because Knight's data is more realistic than Sony's default "perfect" players...) and give some feedback if the experience is similar to what it was on MLB 12.

I watched a couple games and it looked okay to me. For whatever reason, both Maddux and Saberhagen (demi-gods in the original set) tended to struggle in their first inning before becoming dominant later in the game. And also, MLB 14's player of the game thingy seems to be broken because I've had a situation where a player had 4 out of 5 RBIs in a game and he didn't win it... It was Florida's Chuck Carr, quite the hidden gem...

Having service years in there will REALLY help the Franchise experience if I ever do make full 90-man rosters. I really wish they give us one pitcher with 6+ years of service, that would make it perfect.

I'll probably end up exporting my '90 set, and the All Time Roster from '12 to the PS4. Kind of excited to see how the faces transfer over from the PS3.

PJ I have JMeyers 87 full Minors roster from MLB The Show 11.

An incredible roster in every way. If you want a copy of it on a USB let me know and you can port that for 14 on PS3 which would rock man.

I've still got all the better rosters form the last few years downloaded, but I'll only transfer over mine. Some people are a little picky if other people upload their stuff. A 90 man roster might take a little longer than I'd want to spend on it too.

                    Phil,

Your first upload is really looking good and plays out really well. Maddux had the same rough start in a couple games for me but I think that is basically in Exhibition where as in a Season game he was stellar throughout.

I appreciate these updates as progress is made thus at some point fairly soon a full Post Season mode will be very playable.

Thanks again for your fabulous work and effort it is much appreciated as I only enjoy this game with these classic players & teams.

                    Don

I got the ok from JMeyers. He would love to see his creation from 11 ported to PS3 if possible.

Anyway love the fact we are getting another great year of classic rosters

Here's what we can do. You do faces and equipment and I do the rest.

I'll upload a file today that has Philadelphia done, so you can do the whole NL East.

This will get done a lot faster if somebody can help with equipment and faces! So thanks again!

I would like to add the minors to this set in a later version......do you still have baumy's 1996 roster from MLB 12? That would be a great base to use for the minor league players to insert into 1994

Yeah I have it. Do you need it? I'm thinking the first MiLB players that should be put in should be all the guys that had or eventually would play in the bigs, because that's the ones that people really want to be more detailed. Then, the career-long minor leaguers can be put in and maybe we don't have to spend as much time to morph the faces... I'm thinking that for them, right skin color, head shape, hair and facial hair would be fine.
