I agree man...I think I'm going to change my 2 Japanese teams to older 87 and leftover 88s retirees...just thought about how you were saying the japanese players would be all mixed in the league leaders and it wouldn't look very authentic with shinzuke masakawa next to tony gwynn and kirk gibson

Got the Braves and Nationals faces/equip done.......3 more to go

I've been getting slammed with work lately, so I won't be able to pick this back up until Friday evening.......I'll be able to work more diligently on it over the weekend and hope to have NL East completed and back into your hands

        That's great man!

Halfway through copying down the Dodgers here, 2 teams and a half away from having finished the NL.

I'd love to finish that before tonight.

I'm from the south shore, Sorel. I was there too!

Man, the 90-man roster in 1994 will be something for the Expos. Vladimir Guerrero is in Single-A. Enough said.

Going to put some more work into this project this evening

Going to be so dope when this is finished, can't wait to run a Yankees franchise, and see if I can duplicate The Core Four's run of success. They weren't yet household names yet being so young

                  Jeter: 20 yrs old
                  Petittie: 22 yrs
                  Posada: 22 yrs old
                  Rivera: 24 yrs old

Also will be interesting to see if I can rewrite history with some prospects who never quite lived up to their billing. Can I make Ruben Rivera, Shane Spencer and Ricky Ledee into something more than fringe players? And the fact that we can carry these rosters into the future, ah man!

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

Yeah! Many teams are interesting. I've started inputing the NL Central, and I'm doing Houston right now, and they probably have one of the best infields in the game: Bagwell, Biggio & Caminiti is a hell of a crew.

When I'm doing a fantasy draft, I know I'll be getting Bagwell if I draft high enough. What a player.

The great thing about this project is definitively the trip down memory lane, and every team brings back a memory and I'm running across names and taking notes mentally for a future franchise fantasy draft.

Just realized that the spreadsheet I posted in this topic stopped saving my changes when I renamed it, it made a new spreadsheet instead.

                    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...rive_web#gid=0

I'd really wish they'd let you use initials in names. There are two Pedro Martinez' and two Brian Hunters. Of course, you know crap about baseball if you confuse Pedro A. with Pedro J., but...

Up now on the Vault... OS 94 NLEastXCentral!

Which includes all the NL East teams I posted previously PLUS the Astros (In the spot of the modern Astros...), Cubs, Reds, Pirates and Cards!

Also includes a generic'd out Arizona Diamondbacks.

Trying hard to finish the NL in the upcoming week. I've got two teams of the NL West ready to input (Rockies and Dodgers) and the two others left to copy over.

Fun stuff: In this mod, Eric Karros gets to call his own plays, and Walt Weiss gets to be player-coach for the Rockies. And also, Sandberg gets to coach against himself.

Should I scrap working on the first upload and work on the faces/equipment off this latest update? I had two teams left to do in the NL East (taking a lot longer than I expected) off the original upload

No! I'll import your NL East work in.

And then if you want to do them you can use the new one to work on NL Central.

At the end, I'll just import them in too.

Thanks for doing this, take your time, no problem if it takes longer!

Just found this thread; reminded me that I bookmarked the 1994 set for MLB 12. Now somewhat thankful I don't have MLB 13 or 14

Okay cool sounds like a plan.......I will keep plugging along and when I finish with the NL East I will hand it back to you and move on to the Central (totally forgot about the import capability, doh!)

And no problem at all, I'm happy to be able to pitch in!

Re: Porting Knight's 1994 set to MLB 14

Just to chime in, I downloaded this yesterday and started a short season. I'm a diehard Marlins fan and a few months ago I rewatched the 1993 opening day game. The memories flew rampant and I immediately hoped to relive that in The Show. So I downloaded this set, made a couple tweaks to make the 94 roster more like the 93 roster, of course the changes were only minor. And I know the rest of the leagues aren't complete but I was ok with that since I was just focused on the Marlins and I found it quite fun to match the old team against todays players. Example, got a nice kick out of seeing Charlie Hough tossing that knuckleball to Pablo Sandoval. Anyways, great fun, love it. Great job here!

Just some feedback, not sure how detailed u got with player accessories but I googled pictures of all the guys on my team and made some edits. Strongly suggest making everyones pants either low or socks but definitely not baggy or even long as pretty much no one wore long pants back then. Also all batting gloves gotta be style 1 as 2 and 3 weren't around back then.

Nonetheless im happy with this set. Strongly recommend it.
