    Question..

Do you have to aim your swing??? I do not touch the "stick" for swinging. I just use control or power button the swing

If you are on HOF, you should. The quality of your hits would improve and you will see more balls go to different parts of the field based on the pitch location.

          I posted them for you!

To make things clear I treat default as 0. Any tweak to the right will have a (+) in front of it and any tweak to the left will have a (-) in front of it.

          Human

          Pitcher Fatigue:
          -Starting: 0
          -Relief: 0
          Pitch movement: +8
          Pitch Command: -8
          Wild Pitch Freq: +2
Contact: -10 (If you are finding too many weakly hit balls for your taste put this slider at -8. Do the same for the cpu)
          Power: +1
          Plate Awareness: -3
          Error Freq: +10
          Throwing Strength: +3
          Throwing Accuracy: -3
          Fielder Speed: -2
          Passed Ball Freq: +1
          Injury: +3

          CPU

          Pitcher Aggr.: -8
          Pickoff Attempt Freq.: -6
          Contact: -10
          Power: -1
          Batter Plate Discipline: -5
          Fielder Reaction Time: -9
          Throwing Strength: +3
          Throwing Accuracy: -3
          Error Freq: +10
          Base running Aggr.: -4
          Stealing Aggr.: +2
          Stolen Base Freq.: +3
          Injury: +3
          Hook: +3

          Global

Pitch Speed: 0 (I like default but this you can adjust to your liking)
          Umpire consistency: -4
          Pitch Count: +5
          Wind: +7

          Notes:

          -API is Off
-These were developed from using the pitching meter. If you use classic pitching, some things will have to be adjusted. Especially the command slider.
-I have the strike zone off and vibration off. That is up to you!

Using the Giants now I am still not hitting ANY Hrs. I'm starting to get around on the ball more and am having some long fly outs...hopefully the HRs will start coming.

When pitching, do you guys only allow the bar to go to the lowest area of yellow? It seems you have MUCH more control this way and can strike guys out more easily than overthrowing pitches. I'm usually dominating the AI when I pitch, rarely giving up more than 1-2 runs, but I do not strike a ton of guys out. Although last game I lost 6-0 which was a nice change!

Who on the Giants, besides the obvious, is a HR hitter? I play with the Dodgers and haven't been hitting HRs, but there isn't a bone fide power hitter on the Dodgers.

I only max out the pitching meter when I really need to reach back and gas it up.

My last 5 games with the latest sliders, I've averaged about 4 hits per game without very many power hits, but I'm not givin up any runs or hits either. I'm about 20 games into my franchise so maybe I'm just in a slump. I'm using the Braves and through the first 15 games I was getting anywhere from 8 - 15 hits per game. I haven't seen many homeruns with these sliders though. I think through 20 games, my leader HR guy is Teixera with 4. Chipper, Renteria, and McCann have 3 each. Andruw is hitting .400 with only 1 HR. My team ERA is 2.65 or something crazy like that. My record is 14-6 with some about 4 heartbreaking 2-1 losses.

I have pitching down now and am getting really good results.

I am simply having problems getting around on inside FBs. I'm used to the days of MVP2005 when I used to dominate (had to brag) online leagues by smoking inside pitches even off the plate. Can't do that with this game. I'm trying to be patient and smart about my ABs but I also don't want to always hit the other way. I can pull the ball still but I feel as though I have no control sometimes and I'll take a flaling (sp) swing at an offspeed pitch by thinking it's a FB.

I'll get it eventually, just have to keep praticing. Is there a practice mode in this game?

With about 20 games played I've yet to hit a HR with anyone. I've had some drives into the gap for doubles but nothing over the fences. Please explain what you guys are doing to hit your Hrs? Anytime I use the power swing I usually line a hit up the middle.

There is no bp mode in this game unfortunately.

If you have the contact slider down you need to make sure you are accurate with the left stick. If you do not you will not see hr's. There are plenty of hr's with these settings.

                                Nemesis,

I think I am seeing to much opposite field power with your PS2 sliders, should I just lower Power to 0?

Any fastball away I can take deep with Adam Dunn, not a big problem but then I am having success with Ryan Freel on fastballs away, he has hit 2 HRs to RF in 2 games.

Granted my sample size is small.
