-These were developed from using the pitching meter. If you use classic pitching, some things will have to be adjusted. Especially the command slider.
-I have the strike zone off and vibration off. That is up to you!

Somethings may still change because I am working on a drastic change for power, contact and vision. Understand that we all have different skill levels and these should be viewed as a spring board to get to your comfort level. I am thankful for everyones input and own experiences and no one should feel that they are taking over this thread. We are here to make this the best baseball experience this game can offer.

Thanks for everything and play ball!
I changed the plate disipline slider for the cpu because it was brought to my attention that this slider is opposite of the ps2 and psp version. So now +5 gives them more discipline where they do not swing as much and -5 causes them to chase and miss more borderline pitches. Your choice.

Nemesis, what do you think the end result will be?
On one hand, I liked the cpu swinging at a few pitches out of the zone. But on the other hand, would changing it to a positive number mean they take more pitches, thus working the count more?
      What's your thought on it?

My goal with this slider is to increase the pitch count for my pitcher.

I hope this works... I think my pitcher's pitch count could use a little raising as well. By the way, a little off topic but have you tried franchise mode yet?

I'm new to The Show, and all the budget and player developement stuff was a bit overwhelming to be honest. When should I start looking at all that stuff. Do I play my spring training games first? Am I instructed when to do things during the franchise mode... like scouting and stuff?

I only play season mode, franchise is a full time job and I already have one of those! You do start out with some Spring Training games.

Nemesis, how are you liking the change to +5 on cpu plate awareness?
I played a game and I got shelled. It's so hard to judge though, because you do get shelled in baseball. Not every game is 3-2. That's why I'm actually glad there are more than one person working with these so we can get an overall view of them.
I will say this, my pitch count was up, but mainly because I was giving up so many basehits, I had to pitch more.

Is there anyone using these with Classic pitching? What changes need to be made if you go the Classic route? Will it affect a lot of sliders?

Still testing this one. I am not convinced yet.

You would have to change the command, movement and wild pitch slider. I would think they would need to be closer to default or a click or two off default.

Ok. Anyone have any settings for those 3 sliders with Classic? I think Pared's used classic so I might use his for those 3 sliders. Just looking for some feedback.

I believe he does use classic. Sorry I can't help you more!

I'm excited to use these, but I know I want to go the Classic route. Thanks for all the hard work.

How in the hell do you hit doubles or HR's in this game. I keep losing games by 2 runs or less because I can never hit anything other then a single. What really pisses me off is that if I guess a pitch and location correctly then I should be able to hit HRs (granted not every time). I've hit one HR in about 9 games.

I don't know what to tell you... thus far I just haven't had this problem using the slider sets in this very thread. It seems as though I am hitting one or two homeruns per game and 3-4 doubles per game. Maybe you need to use the power swing more? I do use the power swing frequently. I seem to use it more and more early in the count. Once I get to two strikes, I try to protect the plate with a normal swing.
May I suggest you also look into the cpu fielder reaction time slider and hum power slider if you are having trouble.

I see extra base hits by me and the cpu. I wish I could figure out what the difference was?
