Hey Edwy, new sliders seem really good. Have you decided what level to play on yet? I'm finding HOF a little too difficult. It seems the AI just gets hot whenever they want to. I like the All Star level. One thing though, I've noticed AI baserunners not advancing from 1st to 3rd and 2nd to home on long singles, do you think the fielder speed and AI fielder reaction should be dropped to 0?

I think im gonna stick it out with All star as well, not seeing a BIG difference so I think im just gonna stick with it.

I thought the baserunners werent supposed to do that?? In the gameplay options theres a setting like "Baserunning Something" and the default is set to "Assist" which means the AI baserunners will advance a base whenever theres a base hit, but if you want him to advance another base then you have to manually make the runner advance. Thats the setting I have it on and I like it.

I'm sorry man, I was referring to the AI runners, not the user's. I have no problem getting my guys around, it's when the AI gets back to back hits, it's almost always 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. It doesn't seem like they are going from 2nd to home and 1st to 3rd. Could just be me though.

Yeah, I think its just you, im not seeing that...the CPU's doing a pretty good job baserunning, but it should have to do with the CPU Base Running Aggression SLider if you wanted to mess around with it. Sometimes the CPU will start to go for 3rd but then head back to second after they see the outfield throw, so I think its perfect where im at.

Go to page 15, 3rd post down, those are the ones im currently using, almost exactly the same as the ones online except 3 minor changes

That is very very strange, I dont see how the CPU cant hit runs off of you especially if the Contact and Power are so high at 9, and also your pitch command at 0.....are you using API?? and Hustlin is right turn off all the aids...

Yes I was using API and some of the aids. I will try it with all of the aids turned off as well as turning API off and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions.

Right now im testing out some tweaked sliders of my set, adjusting the Power to get more HRs for both CPU and User and adjusting the Sliders that have to do with the User Pitching so that the CPU can give much more of a challenge

Sliders: (0) Means all the way to the left, (20) means all the way to the right. Anything left out should be left at the default (10).

Hey, Ive been pretty busy with summer school starting up, so havent had that much time too play as much. Up top is the updated sliders im using right now. Only moved up the Power slider for both User and CPU in order to get more HRs. Also, im playing on HoF now with Guess Pitch off. My seasons going really good, stats are looking real, and im actually having a hard time reaching .500 in w-l percentage.

sorry for asking a stoopid question, but, you;re playing on the HOF settings with the slider numbers above? are these the same slider adjustments you had on All Star?

Yes, I played on allstar before using those sliders and my ERA after about a month and a half of games was around 2.50 (too good), so I decided what the heck I'll play a few games on HoF, and my ERA went up too around 4.00. Also my AVG is going down thanks to me not using the Guess Pitch function anymore. Ive only made very very few small tweaks since I moved to HoF and am having challenging games.

I just wanted to say that i just started to re apply your sliders to my game after doing some personal appraoch things with hitting and pitching and for my first two games using your sliders.. .they are amazing, no other slider set has ever brought me this close to feeling like it is a REAL baseball game. every situation you can think of tense wise ive had and gone through. heart break, excitement everytihng... thank you soo much for your sliders my friend they have brought back what was once so lost to me... the love of this game...

my first game with you sliders was a 6-5 win in ten innings and my only other game was a 5-4 loss in regulation... both games against the white sox...

Just played two more games with your sliders... two more great games this time one verus the White Sox and the Series openr with the Yankees. each of them i won with a game winning walk off home run. first game was eric chavez, and the last one was mike piazza. ive NEVER had this much fun playing this game before. every game with your sliders has come down litterally to the wire!! im loving your sliders and thank you for making them so that people like me that have had a hard time enjoying thisg game can now fully enjoy the game to its fullest.
