Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
i'm sorry for the confusion.. i meant upload MY roster file to my computer..
i took JT's roster file and then went through all of my saved appearance/stance/motion edits and put them in the game and now i'm going to upload that file for anyone who wants JT's file + edits (i did not touch any ratings however)LG 77CX OLED / Sonos Arc Soundbar / Xbox Series X / Apple TV 4KComment

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
for anyone that is interested...
i posted MY roster file which is made up of JT's roster file plus I went through and edited appearance(s), stances, and pitching motions for 82 players that i'd gathered from various edit threads
here is the link to the thread where it can be found: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...post2038215840
unfortunately, i couldn't figure out how to post it as a .zip file so i had to do it as a combination of 7 files but I included instructions (from this thread) on how to get them onto your PS3
I also included the Word document that I'm continually updating for edits that i find on this site

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
I mentioned before that I was using these sliders with the "normal" roster. I was getting great results. However, stealing bases and the closing speed in the OF was bothering me. So I made the edits. Since I only play season mode, I dont have to worry about new players next year with higher speed and arm ratings.
I am happy with the way OF and IF plays now. I've seen new animations with dive attempts into the gap. OFer's making plays in the corner and off the walls. Just so much more fun.
Try the sliders with the regular roster and I'm pretty sure you will get decent results.
Once change I did make to the sliders, is that I lowered pitch speed to 11. Its a matter of preference, but I think the variation in speed is better around the 7-13 level rather than 14+
I agree the outfielders do cut everything off and its WAY too easy to steal in this game which is unfortunate.Mariners Seahawks Sonics UW Sounders

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
Yes I do. I mostly hit them with X and the left stick. Most of the time I hit them when I have the left stick down when I swing. Gets the ball up into the air most of the time and helps with contact.Comment

Cool, I will lower start lowering mine down form the 11 you had started with, till I feel right. A little too many HR's right now for me. Thanks for your work on these man, I'm loving the gameplay with them.Seattle Pilots GM (2011 - ) Record: 152 - 195

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
i gotta hand it to you JT,
after completing my first full game with your roster (+ my edits) and your sliders...
i couldn't be happier with the results... i saw hits of every kind and to every part of the field
my teams in the game had a combined 6 doubles compared to the usual 2 or so i'd get before
ps. looking back i guess i never asked.. i hope you dont mind i used your initial roster file as a base for my edits file :wink:LG 77CX OLED / Sonos Arc Soundbar / Xbox Series X / Apple TV 4KComment

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
I played the next game...
Indians
Twins (me)
I lost 4-3 and the hits were something around 10, but the #5-Starters were on the mound for both teams.
I really like the amount of Ks and walks. But there are still a few problems we can't fix with sliders, maybe sliders.
First of all, SCEA really screwed the difficulty's, HOF is almost the same as All-Star. On HOF, the CPU-offense should hit me in the ground, but they don't. For the first time I played with classic pitching, but I only gave up 4 runs. I never gave up more than 6. (is it possible that SCEA release a patch that makes the game more difficult and solves the speed sliders?)
And again no homers for both sides even though I increased the P1 and CPU power to 12.
The Double-problem is pretty much gone. I had 1, but should have been more, but I still have problems with the new baserunning engine. CPU had 3!
I don't know what I can do about the low-scoring and close games.
Anyone else mentioned that the CPU starts off hot in the first few innings and then cools off a bit?
Another thing...is it easier to pitch with confidence on or off? I didn't figure that out. I think it's cool to see how much a pitcher trust his pitches, but if it's easier to dominate the cpu, I am going to turn it off.Comment

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
Good stuff JT
This is basically what I did with the Full Minors set last year.
The only thing is I didn't fully zero out the reaction attribute....I had it around 1/4 full for the average OF and worked from there.
I'll be doing this in the second Full Minor set also for this year.(I don't know why, but some guys still want the SCEA guys untouched)

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
hey guys..
would someone be willing to help me?
i downloaded JT's roster from this thread.. and then went through and edited my four pages of appearance and stance edits that i've saved in a Word document from the various edit threads on here.. and i was going to upload it but am not sure how/where..
i saved the file to my flash drive already so I have the "PS3" folder on my flash drive but can't figure out how to upload it
if someone wants to tell me that'd be great.. or I can send someone the files and they can figure it out
let me know!
Then go to a filehosting site ( I think I used mediafire.com, you dont have to register btw) select "browse", choose the zipped ps3 file and click "upload". about 5-10seconds later it will give you the link to the file and copy and paste that here and then we can all enjoy itComment

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
Its funny because I have been using these sliders without the roster edits earlier on and I was getting decent results. But the stealing issue and watching OFers cut everything off in the gap prompted me to edit the speed, reaction, and arm attributes. I think these edits have only made the sliders better. Just my opinion.Last edited by LingeringRegime; 03-11-2008, 05:51 PM.Comment

Re: HOF Primality Slider Set (with edited rosters)
Hey guys, would these work on All-Star? I downloaded the rosters and like what I'm seeing early on the settings I play on. I can tell that the fielding is improved/more realistic already.
Thanks for putting in the work JT."Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't working hard.”Comment
