I think I'm finally settled in on your sliders. I'm in the middle of a game where i have hit 5 HRs and the cpu has hit 3. Don't be alarmed though....we're playing in 15mph winds to right field and that is where every single homer has gone. Again good job Ballin and thanks for sharing your sliders with the community.

I played a game with these (the hard version). Hitting was tough, which I like, but pitching was too easy. I was striking out the CPU like it was nothing, so I may bump the CPU contact slider up to 1 or 2. I also plan to change user pitcher consistency to 3, and leave control at 7 since I plan on using classic pitching. One question though, do you ever use power swing with these?

It depends on situation. Ans on pitching, who were you pitching as?

Both Derek Lowe and Buddy Carlyle were striking people out with ease. Neither are strike out pitchers in the slightest.

then try upping cpu contact and timing a couple notches. The thing with these sliders are that i tried to emphasize that everything is in YOUR CONTROL, and not programmed by the game. again try upping cpu contact/ timing, but if you want to keep that user control factor with these sliders, try playing with ai comback on or even try playing on HOF.

I've been using the 3rd level (hard I think?) of your sliders. I noticed you made some changes to pitch speed and the batting view. I do NOT want to change batting views so should I leave my pitch speed at 5? I was getting good results.

Also, why the change to user contact and power?

Also, looks like you accidently deleted your settings for manager hook and pickoffs for the AI.

Ok, I've been busy but I've managed to use these for four series now (12 games). I'll play one more series and post my team stats.

BTW, I'm using hard for human hitting and cpu pitching, and very hard for cpu hitting and human pitching. It seems to be working very well like this.

Tried the new edits Ballin.....thumbs up yet again!! Something about the offset view draws me into the game even more....actually makes the game look better in my opinion and you can also see the ball better with a righty vs a lefty and vice versa. I was a lil skeptical about changing the pitch speed but it doesn't seem to be that big a deal. Hard fastballs are still hard and now hanging breaking pitches look like the meatballs they shoulld.

lol, same here. I was first like" na, that's cheating", but after playing more and more games, I realized that it is just to hard to pick up the ball from the catcher view to the default pitch speed. With these settings, you can now see a high riding fastball as a high riding fastball. Amazing imo. Oh yeah, and I said the same thing for the beauty of the game.

Pitch speed is an optional setting. It doesn't affect gameplay in any way. Use to your own preference. Although I still recommend using the new settings that i posted.
