I was using the OSFM Opening Day roster but we are both working on the latest installment (v3 including Pitch Edits and Equipment/Motion Edits) and will be using those!

Trying to get it so I can pitch and hit from the same view.

Im really interested in seeing this custom camera that you are using from the pitchers point of view. Im writing this while being severely impaired on 4/20. Even still, I can't wait to try these out when sober.....

I'm still tweaking it (as I don't use it every game). But, if I were you guys, I'd just use the preset 'Pitcher' angle and tweak to your liking. Mine is moved down a bit and zoomed in a tad to see the spin on the ball. But, part of me has been trying the Broadcast view (so it changes by stadium) and I kind of like that.

i use baltimore's default broadcast cam when batting and have been able to read all pitch types well, and i use zone plus analog w/ PCI off when batting...also pitch speed of 4. check out the pics in my slider thread *RARE* Zone Plus Analog Batting/Pulse Pitching/Behind The Pitcher Batting Sliders. i still get to see all the broadcast cams per stadium because i use broadcast cam when pitching.

I'm currenty using physchobulks HOF sliders and think they are excellent however I always like to try different sets to see how they differ.

One thing I always like to ask the makers and testers is how much you notice the quality of the pitchers? Do you notice the difference between Halliday and and a poor pitcher?

Yes, you can. And it's not even so much our sliders why. If you use classic pitching, it is the most attribute-based system you can use. So, naturally, you will feel a difference between Aces and #5's.

But, of course, our sliders make the feeling that much more real.

What about the difference between a #1 and #5 starter pitching against you? Do they still throw 70% strikes and afraid to walk anyone? I am also curious as to the balance between fielder speed and reaction......is it extreme to have reaction at 10? Does that make them too aware? Also, in franchise mode there is no way you can leave starter stamina at 5.....If he threw over 85 pitches in his start, then he wouldnt be recovered for his next start....Must be at 6 or 7.....Cpu starter stamina so low also seems like a huge advantage.....

                    1. Yes, in aspects. I just drew 5 walks against Felix and have been dominated by Hector Noesi. Also, pitch speeds and movement differ largely from starters, seen perfect with 10 pitch speed.

                    2. Reaction at 10 makes it so much more realistic. With the crack of a bat, in real life, a fielders feet are moving. The speed at 0 doesn't make them super quick to jump towards the ball. And even with reaction at 10, I've gotten the animation for taking a step back for going forward toward the ball.

                    3. Starter Stamina is perfect. I just threw 109 pitches with Pineda in 9 innings. Next start? Full bar. His stamina bar has been a tad bit below full before but thats real. CPU starters at 4 helps with the manager hook. I've had starters go against me for 1-2 innings on 'tired' stamina.

Hey man, I have been using your all's sliders for a while now, and I really enjoy them, however I cant catch up with the fastball, and am late like 70% of the time, so I am going to drop the PS to 8. However I hope to put it back up to 10 eventually. Do you have any advice whatsoever on how you go about keeping a good eye on these blazing pitch speeds? Thanks.

Be prepared. I recently started testing with Zone Plus Analog and the thing that keeps me from looking foolish is being prepared. But, if you think about it, it makes sense. If a real life hitter isn't prepared for it, he isnt going to drive the ball. Hes going to try and fight off the pitch to see one he can drive

With zone analog, have you adjusted any of the sliders like pitch speed, human contact, and power

Thanks man....the thing is I think too much about it. I worry about striking out and that what ends up happening. Maybe once I get into franchise and play for real i will do much better.

Quick question about your AS set... Are you getting good results from base runner speed at 0? It seems like balls that I hit well into the gaps are always close plays at second. I thought about trying base runner speed at 5 but I don't know if that will affect the other sliders in some way.
I play on HOF and I really like that set as well but I really like the look of fielder speed at 0 and reaction at 10.
Just wondering what your thoughts were on what I should do

If you are really worried about baserunner speed, put it at 1-2. This will make them a tad bit faster, yet not overpowering.

Crains, I agree. When I was testing these, I was so worried about the outcome that I, honestly, hurt the outcome. I would want that walk so bad then strikeout looking on a curve down the shoot. Once I started olaying the game, it felt more natural and the sliders came to life.
