Is it weird that I stopped playing The Show until this magnificent roster is released?

I think most of us did that. I deleted my old franchise about a month ago. I've just been playing Show Live games to get ready.

I stopped playing a while ago. I was very underwhelmed with the OSFM rosters this year. Faces and ratings were terrible in my opinion.

U guys are making me feel bad! Lol I quit as well.. And started beasting this roster out..

I'm gonna try my hardest to get this done very very soon. Even if that means sleeping very little on my 4 days off and slamming rock star pure zeros like they are water lol

Don't feel bad--they are worth the wait and will be used for a long time.

I started playing the 1994 season while I wait and will probably continue it long after. <singing, badly> memories...

You don't need to do all that, it's not that deep. I'm cool with whenever their out, no rush over here, I can't speak for other but I'm appreciative of the job your doing on this project and have no issue with the time your taking to make them.

with the simulation testing phases.. the ones I have done so far there are still only about 7-10 guys hitting .300 in the league leaders section if you actually go through all the teams tho there is usually around 18-25 guys that hit .300 with over 100 at bats..

the pitching looks phenomenal.

bbs are close but low

stolen bases is really low but I don't think its fixable as even the guys with 99 aggressiveness don't steal a ton of bases.. I did see a few times a guy steal/caught steal around 70ish bases..

I will try to tweak it to get it as close as I can.. sliders also play a role in helping some of these statistics.. but I can only do so much to get the sim engine to play out right.. I don't want to make the players unrealistic by inflating them too much. that would affect actual game play I assume.. but I will do my best to get the engine to work well on producing realistic stats.. its a shame they cant tune the engine up. If I was part of development I would have looked at real life stats and made sure the sim engine produced those sort of things.. I know its a lot for a game company to get everything perfect.. and the show is by far miles ahead of just about every game as far as realism its just the simulated stats really bother me sometimes..

No it's not weird, I do it every year while I wait for the "next big" roster to be released. Sadly tho, I usually end up waiting so long that I end up trading in the game because of it collecting dust lol. Oh well, Madden will be out in less than a month, so trading this in won't hurt me all that much. I'm sure this roster will be amazing even tho I likely will never end up firing up the game to play with it.

Also all batting stances/ pitch motions I could find on OS have been implemented..
If anyone else sees a guy that has a bad pith motion/batting stance that is not listed in the thread over in the last gen section please feel free to inform us.. We will take a look and add them in with the correction u give if they look better.

I'm weary of madden.. Game looks great on the field but if draft classes are not improved or creating draft classes is not added the game is a flop for continued fun.

Every sports game has its flaws though. I'm OCD when it comes to certain things and sporting games are one of them. I need the new ones on the first day they're released (Show, Madden, 2k, etc), so sadly I probably never get full use out of each game each year and this year will be no different. I know it makes me one of those "weird" guys, but it is what it is and it's been this way for me for years now. Good luck with the rest of your roster though, it very well could be the best we've seen on these boards in a long time.

No problem bro.. But the show has made it possible for u to enjoy the game throughout the years now that we can transfer our franchise over to the next edition.. Something to keep in mind. But next year we will be on it from release day.

The one thing I don't get about that is how do the rosters carry over? Will the roster vault for next year start out looking like the roster vault from this year's game? If rosters carry over, it could make your job and every other roster maker's job that much easier.

I'm hoping that is te case or atleast being able to export the players from a franchise carried over
