Somehow when I went back to work on it I had lost both Oakland & Pittsburgh as I too must have saved over that roster while also working on the Late '60s set. That's when, in frustration, I just take a few days or weeks off to recapture the lost enthusiasm of it all.

I am anxiously awaiting your '65 Playoff version.

Yesterday I uploaded Late '60s V1.0 which consist of the 25 Man Teams for the 24 selected franchises that existed between '65-'69 (included the '64 Yankees as part of that set as they didn't have any team I was interested in between '65-'69). I only have the 6 non existing franchises to complete for the season ready version. Those are what I refer to as ERA Combo teams which consist of players that played in the majors but aren't represented on any of the 24 existing franchise teams. Currently those 6 ERA Combo teams are filled with the Early '60s set Combo teams.

I certainly will be using many players from your '65 completed set to fill the rosters of those 6 remaining Late '60s Combo teams especially since you create all players on a team that had an appearance in the majors during that season. Then what I do is rate each of those players with their most representative season of their career.

Anxious for the arrival of MLB The Show 16 but certainly still very much enjoying 15. My biggest interest in 16 will be the ability to easily transfer an entire MLBTS 15 roster set without them incorporating any adjustments to the ratings, accessories and/or personal traits as they did with the Franchise/Season mode transfers process.

But of course those Classic Stadiums will be nice as well.

Thanks Knight ....... your work is greatly appreciated and equally admired !

    Thank you Don....
I saw your v1.0 post and can't wait to get home and give it a try!

Also......this goes without saying....anyone who wants to use any part of this project is free to do so.

...and if you want to use the players for their accumulated stats....I have the list of their stat bases(it's close to it.....the pages I have are the actual accumulated stats from adding up their numbers through 1964....I got as close as I could with the in game stats)...
While I don't have the time to put them in a spreadsheet(I wrote them in a binder).....I can scan them and then post the images for you guys to use as a reference to quickly find a player you would need with those stats.

I used the order from baseball reference...so it would be easy to follow who is who from the sheets.

Milwaukee Braves are completed and I have started Cleveland.(gotta do Cle from scratch......meaning importing the proper stat players).

When I complete Cleveland, I'll upload that for a 10 team set.

It is easily noticeable how much effort/skill has been put into this roster. I really think this could be your best yet --- Which is saying a lot when considering all the superb rosters you have produced prior to this !

            Thanks !!!

I try and put forth the best I can every time out.
I really appreciate the kind words.

One thing I have a LOT of trouble finding for some reason...is catcher equipment color for teams.
I can find nearly zero images of catchers(color pictures) with their gear on.
I know it was mostly black back in the day...but some teams did have colored gear(Baltimore.....St. Louis was ALL red some years...etc)
If anyone knows that a team had a certain color...please post it or IM me.
              Thank you.

              Also...any suggestions for ratings...pitch types...stances or motions.....

              Thanks!

I believe the Angels wore dark blue gear. Looking for others...

Thanks Knight --- It' NOW Playoff time '65 !

Interesting Note: I was the first download and I immediately rated it with a Like because I know your work and to my surprise it only came up with a 50% rating ...... Now that just proves some people rate with a dislike without even downloading things .......... how rude and self serving is that !!!

                      Haha....yeah....

I'll cut people some slack on W.I.P. rosters though. Perhaps they don't realize that it's not completed and why I would upload them in that state.

But.....there are just people who are going to hate on anything 165.....what can you do?

It doesn't bother me at all.

But thank you!!(I do love it when I hear guys enjoying my work)

                        Just finishing up the Phillies...

                        9 more to go.

St. Louis up next I think.

Jim Maloney tamed Mays, McCovey and the Giants last night for a 7-3 win. The star of the game, Vada Pinson, hit two 400+ foot home runs and led the charge for the win against Bob Shaw and 3 other Giant pitchers.

Shaw struggled with control and when he had to come in for a strike the Reds capitalized. Hal Lanier was 2-4 with a double and single for the Giants.

Love the write-ups. My playing time has been seriously reduced (heck, I still haven't had time to look for any more catcher's gear for Knight!), so for a while I will mostly have to live vicariously thru you all!
