Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
I'll post it up for you.
But I don't have many changes to make from the '15 version....you just need it for '16 for PS3...right?

Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
I used to play them but I just can no longer get past the generic expansion teams. When there's just 4 teams, I can fill them out with players that retired the year before & live with that. But anything more than 4 & things go to hell. Esp. that damn NL West. It's bad enough with the Rockies & D'Backs having to be filled with retired players, but if you go back to 1965 & throw the Padres in as well, well that is just to much to stomach. Having said that, Knight made one helluva 1965 & 75 roster, & I love using them in playoff mode. In fact there are a few pre-77 rosters I like for playoff mode.T-BONE.

Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
I agree with Ghost. I wasn't initially not into this set as I'm a 70's baseball fan. But after reviewing the roster and researching the '65 season I really wanted to give this set a go. But I too cannot get past all the non existent teams for that season. I am about to start the '75 season and I can live with 6 non existent teams. I switch out players from Astros/Diamondbacks and Brewers/Rays to get players in correct leagues. I know it's not perfect but it's acceptable to me as I'm not fans of either of those teams and they are not good enough to compete for a playoff spot. I keep holding out hope that one year we will be able to totally customize leagues/divisions/playoffs???Comment

Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
That's my hope as well......
To be honest.....I shy away from anything pre 1975 as well......but now that I created this set with historical stats and am getting commentary and milestones specific to this....I can't play other historical sets right now.
I thought I'd be playing only 1975 and 1987...but nope.
During the season...it's tough to sim past non existent teams so much....but in the end....teams are winding up as should be and it will be very interesting to see if I can bring Detroit into the fray edging out Minny and the CWS in the Central!
I did this set for the long time posters here who wanted a 1960's based set.....but also in the hopes for custom league setup.
Maybe next year.

Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
The developers are pretty good about listening to the customers. That plus the fact NBA 2k16 had the team rebranding plus as has custom conferences/divisions I'm confident we will get that one day. When that day happens in definitely playing the '65 set. By the way... your '75 set plays amazing. I've simmed so many seasons before starting my season and the results are spot on with both teams and stats. It's possibly the best rosters I've seen in MLB, Madden or NBA. Great job!!! ThanksComment

Re: Turn Back the Clock:1965
Knight,
I have taken your 1965 Roster and made it into a franchise "working roster". Meaning that by doing a Fantasy Draft in franchise you can fill a whole team with legit players and almost every team is completely full that you play against. However, I had to change the nationalities of half of the generics to not have the game crash at the Futures Game and I had to change a large portion of the generics to 18 years old so that after a couple of years all the rosters were not depleted from retirement. Long story short, I wanted to seek your permission to upload the roster for anyone that would want to start a franchise in 1965 and work their way forward to today. I am changing each draft years prospects with the correlating draft and free agent acquisitions from the given year. Hoping to go 1965-2015. I have run tests up to five years out and it holds up. Let me know.Comment
