Is it too soon to ask the status of these rosters as far as Show 17 is concerned? These are my favorite classic rosters and I can't get enough of them. Thanks in advance.

Hey, thanks for the kind words. I don't know when I'll get all of them over to MLB 17 as it is a lot of work. Instead of waiting on me, the best thing for you to do to take these teams forward is to create a season in MLB 16 with each roster turning the trades off and make sure you check off all the teams to control. Then when you get MLB 17, just go to "season" and then "continue season from MLB 16". Save each of the seasons in MLB 17 and then you can export the players to the desired teams within MLB 17. That's how you transfer the teams from one title to another. It is cumbersome, and until a utility is created to mass transfer entire rosters, it's really the only way to do it. Make sure you check back as I'll be updating rosters 1.1 and 1.2 with more teams. Versions 2.2 and 3.2 are updated and in the vault now.

Keep in mind that it'll only transfer the teams at the MLB level from one title to another so you'll have to bring up the teams currently at the minors re-save the season and transfer it again. I keep all the seasons I create on a jump drive as you can only save 5 seasons at any one time.

Absolutely love these rosters! Thank you so much for putting these together. I have taken the 80's teams from these rosters combined with Knight's Turn Back The Clock 1985 rosters and ported into an 80's flashback roster that I am thoroughly enjoying. For myself being 10 years old in 1980 these rosters bring back so many baseball memories for me. It is like my old baseball cards coming to life. I would be glad to upload this set if anyone is interested though I will take no credit for just porting them. I have went through and tried to add equipment to every player I may have missed some. It may not be what they actually used but looks better than the generic anyway. These are the teams I put together for this set.

Yep, just 10 uploaded as of now but working on the next 4 as well as the next 4 for the '70s POSTSEASON set. Not rushing this process as I build them while playing too.

Will eventually have a complete '80s Season set including the '80s ERA Combo teams like exist in the Early & Late '60s Season sets.

Heck Man --- It's built a lot on your '80s set carried over from MLB 14.

The 4 teams being worked on now are: BAL83; NYY88; PHL80 & SDP84

The different teams in the set I am building versus Volfan39's set above are: NYY88; CLV88; KCR80; CAL82; OAK88; SEA97; TEX83; MON82; CIN88; MIL80; PIT88; STL85

Hope to also expand the '60s set to include EARLY, MID & LATE sets. Plus working on that Postseason set of other teams prior to the '60s and pass the '80s.

It's up! 80s Flashback 1.0 volsfan39. I hope this will help you out. I would really like to add your CIN88,PITT88,CLV88 and TEX83 to this set when you get done. I think I enjoy the classic rosters as much if not better than the current ones...

Thanks. I have been tweaking equipment colors and things like that while I play a season. Once I think I have a good mix I'll update...Sure wish we had those Expos uniforms!!
