I get irrationally upset and vengeful due to the "personality" some of these players have ..

Playing our division rival and Dylan Clark smoked a homer and bat flipped and pimped it.

Next time he came up ... Even though it was a pivotal point of the game and there were already runners on 1st and 2nd ... Screw it, I put one in his ribs. It backfired, as the guy behind him hit a two RBI double. But ... No regrets.

I got him again his first at bat the next game too.

Okay I don't feel so bad now. I've done this to a few people b/c they definitely deserved it. Also feels extra good when the commentator says "it didn't look intentional" yup nothing to see here ump totally an accident.

Bacon, do you have all of your fictional team stuff (team names/cities, logo's, uniforms, etc) all in one post somewhere?

I am very interested in trying these rosters and play The Show this way. From reading it, it reminds me of playing Bases Loaded back in the day and would write down the box score every game and track stats. But the memory of that, coupled with trying to understand your player's strengths and weaknesses along with becoming attached to them, has me very intrigued.

Only issue for me is in order to do that I think I need to have fictional teams and cities. Some can be the same (New York) but not the same city for every current MLB team. Have them play in different stadiums while using the classic stadiums. Different colors for every team as well. Unfortunately I am not creative in the least and trying to rename every team, come up with color schemes, logos, etc, is just more than I am capable of. Since there isn't a "team share" feature in the Show, I thought the best way I can do this would be to duplicate someone else's teams (if they were willing to share).

I have seen you drop files here and there about them but was curious if you (or anyone for that matter) had it all in one spot? (Sorry for the long winded post)

I randomly searched to see how many players were over 40 years old and the search revealed there are a bunch in 45 year old 1 overall players in the free agent list. Just curious why they were there is that something the game does or something you had to do.

I did that on purpose. It's to better manage first year retirements.

Ah okay. How does that work, my uneducated guess would be that the game would retire players to make room for the players picked in the draft or something.

That's about it. It just slows retirement for some players and doesn't make too much of an impact on franchises because they're already free agents year 1.

Anyone else find Vince Cartwright susceptible to the long ball in their sim? I'm only in early August and he's already given up 26. Part of it is my issue with lacking stick skills, but I've simmed many of his innings too and for whatever reason he seems to be the one I give the most homers up with on my staff.

Just had the displeasure of facing Ethan Kintzler for the first time. I don't think I've ever been that off balance in the box before. Way behind on fastballs, way in front of his slow stuff. It was certainly a fine display of pitching... 13 strikeouts over 8 innings , only 3 hits allowed (all of which were of the blooper variety). We lose 5-1.

Even though it sucks to get dominated, it's cool to see one of the roster sets actually come in and dominate and just FEEL like an ace. Right from the get go it just was obvious he was 'on' and getting anything going was going to be a challenge.

Kind of bummed I had to rename Andy Sacramento. Cool name but Sacremento isnt in the name audio library. Was going to just call him Andy Sackboy but that seemed like a slight on his talent.
