      Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

The staple of my team, and first two picks in the draft, were SS Howard Thompkins and CF Clinton Lake (I believe I was picking 14th). I'm old school so strategy is SOLIDIFY THE MIDDLE! I love these two guys!!! Both are 5 tool players. My ace on the hill is Tadahito Takatsu who struggled early but is pitching to form now. I traded away some talent early to sure up an abysmal bullpen that was getting me thrashed late in games. The bullpen was a must, after SP Tanner Wood (my number 2), the rotation is so-so. My starting LF (a CF'er I moved to left to fill a huge hole in the outfield) is Storm Rollins. He was a great late round pickup. His Defensive Reaction of 86 and his 93 Speed allows him to run a lot of balls down in LF. His 98 Plate Vision makes him really pesky at the plate as well. From a Fictional OG to the new and improved Fictional STAR, I LOVE THIS ROSTER Bacon!

        Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

I think the absolute biggest compliment I could give this roster set is ... The players are totally believable and realistic as real humans. Meaning if you didn't know better and just watched a game, you would assume they are modeled after real players. That's nothing to scoff at, as often in sports games the CAP generated - and sometimes even the actual player models, look a bit 'off'.

So once again, Bravo and thanks Bacon. This is easily the most invested I've ever been in The Show.

I have Clinton Lake on my team too and he’s an absolute beast. He’s a hitting machine and he catches everything in CF.

Note for next season: Tristan Quinn wears one in the ribs each and every time he comes up.

Game 4 of our ALDS and he hit a homer off me .. which is surprising because he sucks and hasn't done anything all season. Turns out he's got an EXTREMELY obnoxious home run celebration.

I really really wanted to plunk him later in that game but it was a one/two run game and couldn't afford to.

We won the series and the game though and indie strike him out for the 2nd out in the ninth. But that's not enough retribution.

On a side note, you must have put some bad juju on Quinn's name. He's in my minor league system and tore his calf muscle today! lol

I had to change Pedro Perdomo's batting stance there was a weird animation glitch when taking a practice swing.

Okay. I’ll look into changing it for the next version.

                    Thank you.

I’ve changed the stance of a couple of my players. There’s some stances I just cannot hit with, especially the righties with a very closed stance (think Giancarlo Stanton), so I just opened them up a little (like Johnny Damon).

Currently in the middle of listening to your episode of Long Gone! got me thinking do you have any players from Hawaii in this fictional world? The whole world got a perfect example of the Flyin Hawaiian but even now Isiah Kiner-Felefa is on the Rangers. If you need ideas I've lived here for my entire life. Would love to inject some Hawaii based players.

Had to put my first player on waivers during spring training today. It was tough since I’ve started building virtual relationships and loyalties with some of these players. But he was a low rated relief pitcher who had an ERA over 12 in 5 appearances. I’ll be able to stick him in the minors though since I’m using 30 team control and nobody will claim him, which is where he’d end up anyways.

I’d like to try these with my half real MLB teams / half rebranded franchise. However, is there a roster update that has stats for 2018/2019?

Neat idea but no I don't have an update with the stats. Hoping to be able to edit career stats on PC.

IMO Cleveland has the best 1-2-3 in the AL. If homer gets on you gotta worry about him, and dezmond is no joke either on the base path. Last you got Paul keys, and he’s probably driving them both in. I’m 3 full games in (playing as every team) the tigers have been giving them problems, but I’m in the middle of the series finale, and they came out swinging. Sweet had a bad first inning, but after that he locked in. I’m so connected to this franchise is crazy. I do see myself playing every game and transferring this to the ps5.
