Hey Bacon, do you do anything special to keep the integrity of the rosters solid once the drafted players join their respective organizations in the off-season. I mean besides getting rid of the insane number of 19 year olds sporting a Rollie Fingers mustache of course LOL.

I'm no content creator, but I have streamed 100+ games so far of my Tigers franchise.

Its the single best franchise experience I've had in my gaming life (over 25 years).

I can't stop firing this thing up, and the story lines are really heating up.

Thank you again for this tremendous project!

Yeah, the generic players make future franchise rosters a mess. I usually wait until a player reaches the majors and then I'll edit them to look more normal. Quick 2 min fix for each player.

            Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

Finally biting the bullet and starting a Franchise witg this fantastic roster. Some minor tweaking to get some players I’m really intrigued by and seem to enjoy before starting, and changing some names and faces here and there; but ultimately I’m taking the Marlins. 70s-00s Retros will serve as normal daily uniforms and I’m super pumped. Having zero tie to any player or desire to try and replicate what they do in real life is such a tremendous roadblock to be over.

Any recommendations on a Utility player who can play the Brock Holt, Howie Kendrick role all over the field while still being a productive bat??

              Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

I was watching a video about hitting, totally non related to this roster set. But in the video they mentioned that there are quite a number of players that get defensive shift in this game. Are shifts coded to the player itself or is it based off of the hitting tendency? If you completely changed the attributes of an existing MLBtS player would it change a coded defensive shift they were programed against?

I'm at work. Trying to type on my phone, does this post make sense?

After not posting here since I guess 2014, I found that my signature had an old slider set for FIFA 15... super awkward...

3 more spring training games left before I start my season. Never been so excited for opening day of video game baseball! These fictional rosters really add to the immersion. I don’t think I’ll ever play another game with real rosters again.

In 6 early April games, Colin Vickers has 5 HR off of my pitching, including a 10th inning walk-off where I had scratched a Run out in the Top of the 10th to take a 1 Run lead. Guy is absolutely killing me. I think next time I just plunk him and move on.

Absolutely loving the Franchise experience with this Roster.

Absolutely, I quickly learned to build my team around him. First year he will MVP, second year started off show but is now back to raking.
Some guys you just have a better feel for like Preacher De Priest, he may win MVP this year, he's very fun to hit with but can't field well so there's a trade off.

                    Junior Gonzalez is another one.

                      Funny you mention Vickers.

He hit his 300th career HR off of me last night vs my Braves in Atlanta; an absolute bomb too. Got a standing-ovation from my crowd for the outstanding achievement.

(Paul Keys got his 1000 career hit for me in the same game....)

Love the mention of Junior Gonzalez. I'm hitting so well with him as well. He plays well above his ratings, it seems (I thought maybe I was just starting out hot, but it's fantastic to hear others are experiencing the same)

Also a big fan of Junior Gonzalez. He hit just under .300 for me in my first season with some decent pop and great defence.

Just avoided a bear monster melt down, allowing 5 Runs in the bottom of the 9th and barely holding onto a 9 - 8 Win. Absolutely loving how this plays still. Thanks for the unbelievable work that must’ve gone into this Bacon.
