Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
Thats how i discovered him too. Threw him to the dogs in a blow out when i didnt want to waste innings for one of my main RP. Dude blew people away. I was scared of his low overall at first but i dont even think twice now. If im in a tough spot i call on Will "Well" Dunn!Last edited by sluggbugg; 06-14-2020, 06:09 PM.Comment

My bullpen is a dumpster fire right now too, so any help I can get is more than welcome.

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
I love how the individual ratings shine, as mentioned with Will Dunn -- now I can't wait to check him out and play with him. Conversely, there's some really high overall pitchers I just simply can't pitch well with, like Jesus Dominguez. I don't think I kept his ERA under 5 in 15 starts with him, and gave up bomb after bomb despite an awesome HR/9 Rating. And then there's other SP rated in the high-70's to low-80's who just deal. Love hearing about these diamond in the rough finds, though, especially!Comment

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
I noticed you add CAP’s to the vault. Is there anyway to add them to an existing franchise?
Couple of minor questions about stats. When a player is traded his stats say Total (for both teams), is there any way to see the stats for
each team or see which team he was previously on? Also most players don’t have stats for 2018 or 2019. Is this correct?
I can’t wait for PS5 Bacon rosters.Comment

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
How did you come up with the names of some players ? Like Derrick Shaw, that’s an awesome name.
Woody Rockwell and what made you make him be 42?Comment

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
As for players being a certain age, I'm trying to follow the normal curve and keep ages somewhat consistent with the trend of the current MLB so some players have to be older. That's pretty much it. Rockwell was just the guy I decided to make older.

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
He was 4-0 with an ERA around 1.60 until my game yesterday. He was knocked around by the Blue Jays (who are in first place with something like a 17-4 record) for 10 runs and didn’t make it out of the 5th inning. My bullpen didn’t fare much better and for the second time this season I stuck a position player on the mound, and also for the second time had a 1-2-3 inning with him.

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
Two words for you. Brady Journell. The guy isn’t lights out but he is an absolute stud as a #2 starter behind Reed. He nibbles, he walks his fair share, he gives up hits but he limits damage and keeps the team in games. He’s 4-0 for me with a 2.45 ERA. A solid 6+ innings every game so far.

Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster
I noticed that some of the P types who have strong hitting abilities can't be edited positionally out of their P roles and into full time fielding/hitting roles. Am I doing something wrong here, or is this just a feature of the roster management system?
I'm wondering if those types will ever develop as hitters if their primary position is P.Comment
