    Glitch???

In year 2022-23 offseason and the Cards offered me a trade that included a reliever named Eric Crespo, 49 overall, 24yo, C potential..... with a 1 year $24.4 MILLION contract??? Wtf??

I went and checked the roster history and it shows they signed him as a free agent in 2020. Yikes.

OT/ I play as the Rays. RF Mickey Stearn was a low-level 80 overall player with C potential. First year in he wins MVP .291/51 HR/134 RBI. He has since put up 38 and 46 HR the following two years and his potential bumped to a B. definitely my biggest surprise player since I started. I only play 22 games of the season. 3 each against division foes and then 1 ea against the rest of the American League. Simulate the rest.

I just gave up a solo homer to a relief pitcher with 0 contact, 0 power and 0 vision. So basically Helen Keller just hit a home run off of me. Thankfully I won the game and the same pitcher took the loss.

This roster is incredible! Well done man. My brother and I used it for Franchise, and it's been a fun experience so far. Keep up the great work.

Fighting through a few injuries to key players I’ve managed to win 6 in a row and have cut the Blue Jays division lead from 7 games down to 4 in a week. This roster amazes me every game I play (the original, not the updated one).

                  Re: Bacon's Fictional Roster

So I think I figured out a way to integrate some of the update players into my current franchise but it will take a bit of work. With the draft coming up for me I got an idea. Once I get to the off-season and the rookies get added I'd convert some of them over to the players available in the vault. I know I'd have to manually make all the changes but it's will probably be a nice break. To make it fair I'd go from best rated to worst starting in draft order and players would be changed on a like for like basis. Example team X drafted a pitcher then they'd get a bacon pitcher instead. It's not the most elegant solution but think it's a good way to get update players without having to start over.

Looks like there are about 105 players in the vault. So first qestion are all individual players in the vault not on the first version of the rosters or is it just players created after the the original April 8th roster drop.

Second question I have is for the players that are MLB level already what's a good way of reducing their overalls so that they are minor league/rookie levels but still keep the "foundation" of what you created.

                    Hey jrnlgrn,

I like the idea but the execution may be a bit tough. Nonetheless, I will answer both questions.

                    1) There are more created players on the roster than in the vault. I have the full list but it's a long list (about 250) that I could PM you if you'd like.

                    2) You're welcome to come up with your own method here. I'm not really sure what would be best.

Thanks for the response. I'm still far from the off season so I have a bit of time to work out the finer points and think over things. We'll see if I'm even still up for taking on the project once the time rolls around.

Yes! If you could PM the list that would be great.

Took a perfect game into the 7th inning with Derrick Meeks. First hit was a solo homer with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th by my newest nemesis Hack Stevenson. It was his 4th home run against me in 5 games this season. Meeks finished the 7th and was finally pulled after a leadoff single in the 8th. He is now 7-1 with a sub 3 ERA on the season. Not too shabby from a #5 starter.

Will Dunn is (virtually) human after all. After being lights out for his first several appearances he has struggled the last 2. One was a 5-2 lead where he gave up 2 in the 9th before finally getting the last out and the save, and the game just now with a 3-2 lead he gave up a couple of hits and a walk until finally a 2 run single to blow the save. I had bases loaded and no outs in the bottom of the 9th but had a strike out, shallow fly out that couldn’t score the tying run, and a routine fly out to center to end it. The win would have brought me to within 1.5 games of first. Thankfully it’s only June

Had a few innings against Atlanta's reliever Cobra Cole tonight. That's such a bada** name and it looks like he used to play for the Padres as well.
